the outpost cottage and Farmstead at Round top was a great place to stay. Very clean and contained what we needed to be comfortable. I queen and a Trundle bed. A/C microwave and coffee maker, refrig and sink. We were able to take our breakfast and be very comfortable. the outpost was a little more expensive than a single room but the comfort made if worth it. Will stay again in the future.

Farmstead was the perfect location for a large reunion retreat! The self-check in was super easy. The location itself was a perfect combo of being out in the Texas countryside and an easy 5-minute drive to downtown. The AC worked great, and the views were fantastic!

We all enjoyed our stay at Farmstead. It was our first visit to Round Top for a wedding. The house was impeccable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, wonderful towels and entire house was well- appointed. We loved the spacious breezy porch and the added bonus was the beautiful landscape. It was entirely peaceful and the hosts' very responsive. Would absolutely come back!

From top to bottom, from inside to out Farmstead was a haven of luxury, niceties, quietness, peacefulness, and the best sleep I have had in months! Perfect combo of practical necessities blended with classy touches around the room, the bathroom and the grounds. (Amazing towels and linens and pillows!!) Count me in to book here again and again! Thank you

Very great team to work with. The beds and towels were hotel worthy! Very clean house as well. We loved it. The kitchenette was well planned with a microwave, coffee maker and a very nice toaster oven. The A/C worked great as well. We enjoyed the firepit outside with plenty of stargazing.

The Farmstead went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I came after the Spring show to pick up some furniture and found cabin warm, cozy and clean. Bonus points for the coffee and sweet cream-it’s like Judy read my mind! I can’t wait to stay again.

Went for a weekend retreat with our needlepoint group and it worked perfectly for our needs. Comfortable, adorable lodging and the great room with kitchen was exactly the space we needed!!! Would definitely book here again! Thank you so much!

The owners of The Farmstead are first class. We rented all the rooms on the property for a small business retreat. Rooms were adorable, and all loved them. The Hall was the absolute perfect venue for our team dinner and meeting the next day. The place is remote but only 3 miles from downtown Round Top. The pool and firepits we were unable to use because of the extremely cold temps, but again both make the property special. They made everything easy. I'll be back for sure. Thanks to Blake and Susan for the perfect place to have our stay outside the city.

Everything was perfectly thought out and very clean! We loved the living/kitchenette area, although we actually spent a lot of time outdoors by the fire pit. The bedrooms were also really nice with comfortable beds and cozy, soft bedding. The property is beautiful and peaceful.
