We had the pleasure of two weekday stays recently and cannot praise enough this modern atmospheric hotel in a spectacular setting The common area is massive and you do not need to choose social distancing it is dictated by accident or design by the layout. Its floor to ceiling windows provide an ever-changing vista of the surrounding mountains. It is a chalet style but with a modern twist to provide a more open environment It has a range of high end modern eclectic art on its walls for sale providing an everchanging aesthetic environment The rooms are also of high standard and importantly the mattress is of utmost comfort. The deluxe rooms have a balcony with great mountain views By Swiss Standards the tariff is reasonable for what it offers We will return

My second visit this summer. Hotel de Rougemont is discrete luxury at its best. The reception is welcoming and efficient. Our room was on the third floor with a stunning view of the Rubli mountain, the village and the Cluny church. The day begins with a delicious breakfast expertly managed by Christina and finishes with a dip in the spa pool - rather too cold for my liking - followed by a light dinner on the terrace of the elegant bar. Unfortunately too few vegetarian options, but staff are kind and helpful and can always come up with something. They also welcome our dogs, Vinnie and Viva, who receive their own gift of bowls of dog biscuits with their names. During this stay we admired the shooting stars, easily visible from the hotel or further up the path. The train station is not far and many interesting hikes such as Rougemont to Saanen are nearby, Highly recommended.

In general the goods must match the seller's description and what is being advertised. The Spa was very unsatisfactory. There was nobody at Spa reception, the sauna was luke-warm and the whirlpool was cold. Wet towels were abandoned on chairs not used and dirty slippers were lying around. There was no staff to clean anything up. We chose this hotel because it was written Hotel & Spa. Upon check out we mentioned kindly that we were not very pleased with the Spa, we got a reply of "Thank you very much for your feedback and we will inform management". Even after our complaint, we still had to pay for an extra plate of "Spätzli" that we ordered in the restaurant the night before because the portions were very small. So at this hotel the moto seems to be, just pay the high prices and don't complain. It is really unfortunate because the Hotel has huge potential and could be a real paradise.

I had the pleasure of spending several nights at this hotel recently, as I had to vacate my apartment due to some work being done. The hotel is an interesting mix of alpine chic and modern. My room had a magnificent view, was spacious and had a Nespresso coffee machine plus free bottled water and several sodas (for soda drinkers). It was extremely quiet as there were not many guests. They had just opened after a 6 week break (first day open). I did not use the spa as we were in the middle of a heatwave but I did go to have a look and it was beautiful. The bar was great and I imagine with the big fireplace it must be extremely cozy in the winter. The two gentlemen manning the bar were extremely warm and friendly. The wine list was nice, and they had a lovely selection of exotic drinks. I had a wonderful simple pasta dish in the bar the second night, and a couple of glasses of very good red wine. Breakfast was included. I cannot speak highly enough of the front desk staff - particularly Antoine! What an extraordinarily human being! The hotel is blessed to have him as an employee. The manager of the hotel also could not have been kinder. Finally, due to a small oversight at the hotel, they had the decency to cancel my 2 night dog fee of $60, plus offer me a free future day visit to their spa. I highly recommend this hotel for the warm, welcoming environment where they really do go out of their way to accommodate as well as the incomparably beautiful location!

This intimate five star boutique hotel in the authentic and historic village of Rougement embraces you and make you feel at home.Has seen as you turn off the main road it sits there majestically drawing you like a magnet. It is understated elegance but at the same time informal and by no means pretentious. The enclosed complimentary parking is a bonus The deluxe rooms with balconies have a direct mountain view and are well equipped with all the amenities and facilities as well as spacious with plenty of storage.Importantly particularly after a day of skiing you know there is a high quality mattress awaiting your nights sleep. The breakfast is exceptional with many local products and fresh juices The service at all levels is exceptional - engaging friendly yet professional The space can be booked but invariably not all with a range of massage jets in the pool with an accompanying hammam and sauna. The only suggestion I would have is to up the water temperature from 30.5 to 32 *C The lounge area is expansive with comfortable sofa and floor to ceiling glass to 😁provide the best panorama

Lots of style and comfort with very friendly staff and excellent restaurant, in a gorgeous region of Switzerland! The fitness room is also great, as is the spa, although its size is on the small side. But that's a very minor issue in an otherwise perfect, heavenly place.

We wanted to stay in Gstaad itself but there was nothing available , This is just next to Gstaad . Rougemont is a quiet place and doesnt have the buzz of Gstaad but the Hotel itself was very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff , very nice rooms , pleasant atmosphere in the bar and lounge > we didnt have time for the Spa and Cinema .Rougemont itself is a charming village surrounded by nature

Hotel de Rougemont is a gorgeous chalet style hotel in the Rougemont village. Easy 5 minute walk to the train station which was great for our skiing access to the slopes (also ski storage room). Our chalet style room was large but cosy with a great view, a huge comfy bed and a great bathroom. We spent every evening in the relaxing lobby bar with great staff to serve us, bar snacks, a cosy fire, incredible mountain view and board games available. Restaurant Le Roc served us an incredible meal on our first night, which topped most restaurants we ate at in Gstaad. Served with a smile by the lovely Antoine. Spa Nuxe was a good facility and we enjoyed a couples massage there. My only things to add would be that the spa could really do with a hot tub/jacuzzi. There is no shuttle service/bus from the hotel which would be great as trains are only every hour. Also, the minibar in the room could have a better selection. Overall, so pleased with our choice of hotel and would definitely stay again.
