Great city, great hotel. The travel experience is really great! There are plenty of places to eat right outside the hotel, and you can get discounts on zoo tickets at the front desk.

The ROOM is a lovely hostel in a prime location. Had the most amazing time in the events organised by the staff like the Pasta night, Dutch Delight night, or the Karaoke night. Will miss this place, hope to stay here again soon!

Room Type: 8 p Deluxe room(Sport) The rooms are very spacious, and there is extra care given to ensure complete privacy in this pod kind of space. Due to the weather conditions, the individual ventilators were a compulsion for this room during my stay, this room offers individual ventilators for each pod so thats like a great advantage. the diadvantage that gives is the socket is never free if you want to use your charger, they have provided usb ports for this purpose, however i was the unlucky one whose pods' usb ports were not working. The staff was kind enough to change my bed and also try to sort the issue for me but unfortunately could not manage that. Thus a 4 star instead of a deserved 5 :). All in all highly recommend the place, the staff are a gem who are always there to help and if you are in the sport room, try taking the corner bed(lower/upper) the window is just next to it and its better ventilated than the other beds. Since there is no bed tagging, you might just get lucky :)

We enjoyed our stay in this hostel. Staffs were really friendly and helpfull. Perfect location. Few tram stops to the Rotterdam Central Station. Take tram number 4 from Central Station. Room was spacious. Clean bathrooms. Breakfast was simple. Highly recommemded.

Fascinating historical building. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. Breakfast is worth it also at €6. The 5 bed dorm wasn't the best though with only small lockers, no air conditioning and limited plug sockets. I didnt get much sleep due to other people coming in throughout the night / early morning and the bunks were quite shaky and noisy to turn over in. USB A sockets wouldn't work and there were a few trailing & exposed cables. The Goki App was a bit of a gimmick, didn't work for me and I'm afraid of my personal data being stolen from it to be honest. Most people used individual door codes anyway which sometimes were hit & miss. There were nice personal touches around, but I think they would score higher for me if they modernised some essential things like larger lockers, updating the male showers on the 3rd floor, accessible charging sockets, better bunks (maybe solid wood attached to the walls?) and a better door entry system. It seemed like there were lots of other events happening downstairs during the week and it was a pretty chilled place to hang around in with a nice bar. Vinea (apologies for spelling) gave me some good tips on local attractions.

Not a great experience here at all. The reception is closed until 8:30am which means you do not have access to the shared spaces. Breakfast is served very late. The staff are unwilling to give refunds in case of conflicts / miscommunication. I would recommend the other hostels in the city over this one.

A very fun place to stay with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was good value for money with fresh foods. I particularly enjoyed the rolls and pastries fresh from the nearby bakery. Varied city walls are on your doorstep. The hostel is also very clean. I thoroughly recommend
