Great city, great hotel. The travel experience is really great! There are plenty of places to eat right outside the hotel, and you can get discounts on zoo tickets at the front desk.

This was my fifth visit to Hostel Room since I first came in 2006 and it is an amazing unique place with a very friendly atmosphere. It is run by the same owners (Mirjam & Monique) since it opened 18 years ago along with their wonderful team. The building is old in a good quirky way and the location is fantastic - a short walk from the Erasmusbrug and right next to lots of cool cafes and restaurants. There is a weekly programme of events and activities run by the hostel and a monthly music night. There is a kitchen with cooking facilities and utensils. The hub of the hostel is the reception bar and lounge area which has really cool decor and is a good place to just chill out , read, have a coffee in the day time. Becomes more livelier in the evening. There are dorms of different sizes so we were able to get a dorm exclusively for our group of 6. We will definitely be back. Thank you ROOM!

In 1 word: A-MA-ZING This hostel and her staff makes you feel warm and welcome❤️ Very friendly people, perfectly clean rooms, bathroom and toilets. Love the cosy living room😍, delicious breakfast, door openings with GOKI app👍🏻, our stay felt very safe (we even saw 2 families with young teenage children), a lot of services available (optioneel to use a shared kitchen, bike rental, walking tours, free option to use a safe, good wifi, power with each bed, happy hour🍻 and severe beers on tap). And not to forget: The location couldn’t be better!! Definately we Will come here again!!🤩

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, the staff is super nice, the room a d whole facility is clean, only one problem with air conditioning and the bed is bit not comfy, 15 minute walking to the city center and its located near by tram stop, highly recommended it

I stayed at the Hostel Rotterdam on July 26-28, 2024. On the 26th I was walking around the hostel and across the street and I tripped and fell. I needed the ambulance and hospital. Everyone working at the hostel were so very kind especially Jeff and Sam. I would highly recommend this hostel not simply because of their care and concern for me but because of the overall place, cleanliness etc. I can’t thank all of you enough. God bless you. And I was able to proceed with my cruise to Norway in July 28. Once again this hostel is the best!💕

My oldest child and I were viewing a university in the Netherlands. So we stayed for 3 nights. We were a bit worried about safety and noise due to us being solo travellers etc but we had no need to be. We were up on the top floor so far from the street. We never felt unsafe. Shower was very good. Staff extremely nice. No concerns about safety. They had a washer dryer which was very handy. We went to the music night they had and it was very nice. We got breakfast one of the days and we found it good value. Place was clean. Hair dryers weren’t working sadly. But other than that, no other issues.
