Hello. I have been in this accommodation for two nights. The accommodation is deceptive because it is located in the famous house of cubes. It is still a hostel where you have to pay for towels and soap, and also make the bed on duvets, pillows and mattresses that are like that. Really expensive for a hostel. The quadruple room is elongated, and it is very possible that if you are of average height, you will end up with a blow to the head. The air conditioning does not heat, you only have to look at the heating control and the light in half the room. It does not work. The breakfast, although very basic, is the best thing about the hotel. Anyway, if I had known, I would not have come.

Amazing staffs (very knowledgeable and very fast reply) pre-arrival: we arrived by ferry (Hoek van Holland); by their advise by Metro Train (stops right outside the property & good advise on what to do in Delft (day visit) arrival early: there storage for luggages and lockers for valuables (Euro 2 for small locker & Euro 4 for large lockers per 24 hours). Payments are by digital method. we booked private room, was assigned 201 (which was right under the best photo but next to the staircase, will hear a lot of noise from outside, stairs and surrounding (again it can be irritating but we are there for the "experience" so this is part of it, just be louder or tell them off nicely.) very nice that no smoking inside the room but if your choose to keep windows open, people downstair can be smoking, you will get that smell. Breakfast was very rich (slice hams, pepperoni, and lots of bread selection, fresh brew coffee machine). Bar with location and wheat beer selections, just asks. plenty of sitting areas, balcony and front. the shower and light are with timer; towels are chargeable (or bring your own) basic all in onw (shower+shampoo) dispensers, toilet rolls are provided. the linens are provided but you need to fit it yourself. Location is amazing, train station, tourist spots, restaurants & bar, shopping streets, Hall of Market, Church, post boxes and Santa Claus (close by china town) are all within 25mins walking distance. Departure day: we were able to store our luggages and stay until afternoon (our boat departure at 22:30,) they dont kick us out; we are able to drink, eat and rest around the lobby area. for people that want to stay here, this is not for the luscious and butler-serviced resort hotel; the price is for the location and artistic uniqueness. lastly, read the name "hostel" and this is build in last 1970s. after this experience, I notice life can be very simple; all those glamorous and materials are optional in life - thank you.

This is such a cool place to stay. I did not know what to expect from a hostel, but it was very welcoming. There’s breakfast included and it was delicious and fresh. I felt really lucky to be able to stay in such a unique and historic building. We had two bunkbeds in a small room with a private bath. Towels were not included with the room, but that was not a problem. The bedding was clean and the room was comfortable.

It's tragic experience.i went with good disposal and i m gone two days after so tired...2 days with no sleep.... Staying at this particular hotel is a military exercise... Every day waking up from 6:30 because the others people ,staying were obviously working in the morning. At 6:30 the lights were turned on and the fuss began. That they go out ,I tried to sleep as result I didn't eat breakfast any day. So small bed space and so dirty. every maneuver was impossible. the walls were made of paper, everything could be heard from the other apartments I asked for a down bed because I have a problem with my leg. nevertheless I was told by the reception that it is unpossible and this is random.. After I found a bed down and made it ,at night I found another person sleeping in this bed. so I had to sleep in another and up bed. It's the worst experience ,i had......you don't reservation this hostel....

Bad hotel. One of my guests has 2 proofs of Corona vaccination on paper. Because he is not a Dutch citizen, he has no QR code. In all other accomodations, 2 proofs on paper are accepted. Before booking, this was not mentioned. Upon arrival we got a very nasty treatment and the manager stated that the 2 papers were not a valid proof. She cut off the line because I wanted to insist on booking. This was on New Years Eve. Very bad experience on a very important day and family reunion.

Great location, in a spectacular building - the Cube houses, one of the Rotterdam's most iconic attractions. The room is one of the cubes, so has a very special shape. It was basic but clean and quiet. We stayed here at the end of November and the room was a bit cold.

Two nights seem sufficient to me for an objective evaluation. The location is discreet: close to the center but above some dirty and smelly places (breweries and others). The room assigned to us (202) is very small and absolutely not suitable for 4 people, also having a column in the middle which makes any maneuver difficult. Bathroom with urine smell. Room visibly lived in, rough cleaning. Only one window that opens a few centimeters. Good breakfast (included in the price) but overall quality/price ratio not satisfactory.

I went there with my family this January. The location is top, close to a huge natural park and a stone's throw from the center of Amsterdam. The structure has a very particular, very colorful style which, honestly, I adore. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice, we were given bunk beds even though I would have preferred double beds. The breakfast is excellent. Overall it is a good hostel, I recommend it.
