It's right next to Lake Rotorua. If you have breakfast on the street in the morning, you can walk to the lake to feed the pigeons. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool, but unfortunately it was too cold when we went. The hotel is also very close to the snack street, so it is very convenient to walk there for dinner. The only thing is that the front desk closes early, so if you arrive after five o'clock, you need to pick up your keys by yourself. Overall, it's a great place.

The location of the motel is great, the hotel staff is nice and welcoming. We appreciated the nice touches like notes in the room, information about the motel and what to do in the area, fresh local milk in the fridge... But I have to stay the room we stayed in was very old and had a bad smell also in the bathroom (not the Rotorua normal smell, but something like sewage...). I guess we stayed in one of the old rooms, because we were very surprised after all the good reviews we had read before booking. We stayed 2 nights and unfortunately felt that value for money wasn't that good. If you're considering booking here, maybe ask for a renovated room.

Great location, nice little room, perfect for our one night stay. Loved the mineral pool on site. Chloe was a fantastic greeter. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee and waterfront. Had everything we needed. On site mineral pools were a bonus - older but very functional.

Had a two bedroom suite. The accommodation is basic but extremely clean and a reasonable shower. It is very well situated near the lime café which is round the corner and also eat Street. We had a small problem with the air-conditioning and I must say that the team were superb. Although they could not fix it, they called the engineers who came shortly thereafter And the whole problem was sorted out. We were provided with fans also and I thought that the level of responsiveness was extremely good. The team were very apologetic and gave us a voucher for lime Café for breakfast the next day. I would definitely stay here again The staff are outstanding and the rooms are fine.

Family with 3 children really enjoyed this accommodation. It is not a fancy place, but the attention to details- information boards and maps at the reception, eco friendly tips and facts, fun signage around the hotel, wonderful pool and hot pools, and cozy rooms - we loved the local drinks provided as a bonus too. Would 100% recommend to anyone!
