The boss is Korean. I paid on Ctrip, but when I arrived at the store, he insisted that I had not paid and asked me to pay in cash again. It took a long time to figure it out. He was not friendly to us either. The room was old. Not recommended.

There are a lot of cats, and the boss is very kind. Unfortunately, the nearby residents are noisy. They make noises during the day and into the night. I don't know if it's a problem of sound insulation or the quality of the residents.

The wifi is very poor, basically no internet connection. The outside of the hotel smells a bit, but otherwise there's nothing wrong with it.

The room is large and feels very cozy; the boss is very welcoming and even gave me a bottle of milk; the location is good, 5 minutes' drive from the center of Rotorua

The room facilities are very dilapidated, even the most basic cleanliness is not up to standard, and I feel very unsafe, so I will not stay there again.

The room is very comfortable and big. The cat is super cute

The area was very sketchy and unsafe, definitely did not match the online photos. There was a man out front digging through the back of his car who stared at my sister and I, causing us to feel unsafe leaving the car unattended. I checked in and when she went to move the car he then blocked her path with his car and followed her until the motel lot, sitting in his car staring at her. We did not feel safe at all and immediately returned the keys and left to get away from that man. There also were cats all over the property and the pool was green, nothing about it seemed clean.

I should have paid better attention to the photos. The condition of the room was more rundown than I expected. Furniture had that thrift store vibe. It wasn't dirty but there were dead bugs in the light fixtures, cobwebs in the bathroom lights, noticeable dust on fixtures, peeling wallpaper. It wasn't up to my standards and I checked out a night early.

I could hear sounds from those next door - both sides. Sound proofing would have topped off my stay. Clean and tidy. Thank you.

The property is old and run down. From the mould in the bathroom to the old faded brown duvet covers and the stains on the carpet it needs a complete overhaul. I would not stay there again.

expensive for what it was. they charged an extra $10 a night for our small dog which was not mentioned other than being pet friendly

Property is in dire need of an update.

Countdown right in front of the motel, Kuirau park at walking distance. Its near the centre so very convenient. Overall good

Large efficiency with a kitchen in a quiet neighborhood. Walk to many shops and even downtown.
