Hotel is in need of a renovation. Stayed for 4 nights with my kids in a suite but was given 2 towels everyday. We ended up requesting for extra towels every evening. Sofa bed in the suite is ridiculously uncomfortable, springs can be felt through the sheets.
Coffee machine was covered in a layer of dust. A piece of bacon/meat was stuck beneath it. Ended up not drinking coffee for the whole stay.
Kettle was covered in gunk and half filled (obviously not washed since the previous guest left). Have ask the front desk to have it replaced. Instead, housekeeping poured away the water and remove the spout filter without even washing.
Room came without hair dryer. Have to request for it. Consumables are not topped up daily, have to request shower cap daily.
The Junior Suite have a odd looking white spot light. Obviously an after thought to try to brighten up the room. But it's position in such a weird position. So it's either having a bright spotlight shine right in your face while watching TV or you live with a dimly lit room.
Overall very bad experience. A dated room can be well kept with a team of service oriented staff to make it a pleasant stay for the guest. This Novotel is obviously trying to do the very opposite. (On the up side, front desk staff are very polite)
I've stayed in other Accor hotels before, this stay is by far the worst. Will not return.
