Pension Elke Rothenburg

We stayed here over Christmas and loved this place. Right in the middle of the old town we had four adults in a two bedroom suite with our own bathroom. Super quiet at night with a lovely view outside our window. The breakfast room was so charming with a generous breakfast buffet. Our host was kind and attentive helping us to find parking and making breakfast for us one hour early our last day because we needed to leave early. It was so great to have the grocery store downstairs for snacks and probably the best chocolate selection I saw anywhere in our trip. The town is lovely with a great Christmas market. I highly recommend this place!

great location minutes away from main square. no frills, above a grocery store but clean room. restroom shared and down the hall but price appropriate.

Prime location This hotel was a pleasant stay, emphasizing the cleanliness of the rooms, which contribute to a comfortable atmosphere. Its prime location is also a significant advantage, making it convenient for guests to explore the area. Additionally, the breakfast is quite enjoyable and of high quality. However, a notable drawback is the difficulty in finding the hotel, as the signage was not not be clear, posing a challenge for first-time visitors who arrive late in the evening . Overall, it was a very nice experience and would certainly come back.

Hidden gem Lovely place above a small market with a very friendly host.

No parking for car. Had to park outside the city walls and walk your luggage into the hotel. Room was warm due to no air conditioning.

Proprietor Klaus is friendly. He runs a busy little shop down below. Breakfast was excellent. Location is quiet and convenient. Our double room with shared bath was very spacious and bed very comfortable.
