During a recent stay I had a health issue and called the front desk and spoke to one of the staff. She (sadly, I forget her name but it had an eastern European ring to it) was absolutely superb; she called an ambulance and the paramedics knocked on my room door only 20 minutes later. They let themselves in (as I was immobile) and took me to hospital. While I was in the A&E department I called again and the same lady made sure that room service would collect my belongings from the room and take them down to the front desk, where I later, after being released from hospital, was able to pick them up. The MotelOne staff deserve full marks for making sure a very difficult day did not turn out to be a really horrible one. My sincere thanks!

This hotel is good for a one night stay. Ask for a room facing courtyard or park. The street side could be noisier. There are no aircons and it may be a tad hot in summer. There is parking but the spaces are limited. However there is parking in the street and also parking houses close by. The receptionist was not the friendliest and she appeared bothered by us checking in. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. Skip the breakfast and go to coffee shop next door.

Perfect location close to the center. Convenient and inexpensive underground parking. The king-size bed was very comfortable. After reading the previous comments we asked for a park-side room - it was quiet but you could hear some traffic through the open window.

Stayed for a week on a business trip in August. The hotel is very central, walking distance to shops, restaurants, the harbour and public transport. I arrived by train and tried to take a taxi to the hotel, but drivers refused as the trip was too short for them. After a very long journey I didn't want to find a tram, so I walked (15 minutes). On the way back I used the tram, which is a 5 minute walk and about 10 minute journey. The room was very comfortable and clean, selection of pillows and a bottle of water upon arrival. There was no safe or fridge. Breakfast was excellent, wide variety of non-dairy milks and a very nice selection of vegetarian spreads. There is a bar, but no restaurant. But there are plenty of opportunities to go for dinner within walking distance. I would definitely use Motel One again.

Preis-Leistung ist O.K. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Damen am Empfang waren freundlich, effizient und hilfsbereit. Ein grosser Pluspunkt. Das Zimmer empfand ich als sehr eng. Da man dort nur schläft ist es O.K. Dusche gross und angenehm. Das Motel one in Rostock würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.

Für einen Business Trip wie immer ok. Hotel ist frisch renoviert, leider nun im maritimen Stil. Dies ist allerdings Geschmacksache. Motel One ist längst nicht mehr der BIG Player in Ihrem Segment, allerdings scheint das Management dies noch nicht zu realisieren. Mitarbeiter am FO sollten besser geschult werden in Kompetenz & Gastfreundschaft. Preise an der Bar für das was geboten wird viel zu hoch. Weinkühler bei Flaschenwein wird ebenfalls überbewertet :( …

L'hôtel est très bien placé, pas trop loin de la gare et tout près du centre piétonnier, à la lisière d'un parc. La décoration est contemporaine douce, très réussie. Le hall d'accueil/salon est vaste, très clair, confortable, avec un extérieur pour les beaux jours. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, l'accueil agréable.
