I am updating my review about the TVs not working properly. My colleague said his tv was fine. I should have checked with the front desk to reboot or Move me and I did not. Front desk staff was superb in addressing my concern! Great service! I don’t think I will spell his name correctly, but Mikael followed us outside to follow-up on the tv thing! Wow! He was so concerned that I had a bad experience. If this guy worked for my company, I would be so proud!

We traveled 6 hours to Minneapolis to visit family. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, nice big tv, clean and spacious rooms, although a bit dated. The elevator was quick and convenient. Nice fitness room. The pool is closed and has been closed for some time. We heard something about the pool was damaged by a sprinkler system malfunction. There were 2 large team buses of ice hockey players apparently in town for a college tournament so the hotel was very busy and noisy late into the night & early in the morning. They also cleaned out the breakfast food choices. The little quiches were very good, there were waffles but no syrup, the bananas were almost black, the juice machine was broken, and the coffee was terrible. There were plenty of food choices though, so that was good. My friend slipped and fell in the bathtub but didn’t get hurt. Non-slip strips need to be added to the tubs. For the most part, it is a good hotel, clean and comfortable and convenient. My friend called and booked the rooms and she said it would be around $100 per night. When we checked in, that’s when I used my own credit card. However, at checkout, I learned that the cost was almost $400 for 2 nights. Way too much money for a mediocre stay.

I recently found myself in a pinch and needed a cheap motel room fast! I found Norwood Inn and suites in Roseville Minnesota through a quick google search. I was able to get a room for under $50 a night through Trip. To my surprise Norwood Inn and suites was a full functioning hotel with a pool, continental, breakfast, and modern amenities, comparable to any major hotel chain. The front desk and rest of staff were first rate! I recommend this place to anyone looking to book a cheap but nice place to stay in the Twin Cities. Russell “Rusty” Strong Eden Prairie, MN

Newly refreshed property. Clean and inviting!! Most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in many years!! Front desk folks were kind, courteous, and very efficient! Breakfast buffet included sausage patties and links, breakfast potatoes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fresh bread/rolls/bagels, and warm sweet rolls. Great coffee, too. Our new go to in Roseville!!!

I'm not one to do reviews, but patrons should be warned for the rates this hotel charges. This hotel's rooms are in need of an update and improved maintenance; neither of these met what you'd expect from the Hilton brand or the price they charge, especially your room is supposed to be one of their best, a King Jr Suite. It appears they've attempted to put lipstick on this outdated hotel to get a pass by updating the lobby, including a well known restaurant and updating rooms with a modern tile shower. However, everything else is outdated, in poor condition or quality and in some cases not maintainedroken. Chipped furniture, squeaky doors, faucets, drains, and outlets that do not work properly, in room coffee maker corroded and improperly sound proofed walls where you can hear everything in neighboring rooms and the hallway. The restaurant, didn't eat there but felt like we did. We could strongly smell whatever they were cooking as if it was being prepared in our room, not desirable for your room used to sleep. The only positive about this hotel is its location and friendly service staff. The maids and maintenance staff were always courteous and friendly in the halls. Also, as a native to this area its a great location close to the interstate, malls, restaurants, downtown, Mpls and St Paul, plus events like the MN State Fair. Unfortunately, they have let this hotel's quality severely decline which is not inline with the rates they charge! We did complain, no credit and only one issue of multiple reported fixed, the squeaky door. We were looking for our next regular hotel to stay at in this area we travel to frequently, but this will not be it. We will not stay here again.
