Hotel Vela is on the seafront at Roses, a pleasant, medium-sized town close to the French border. All the rooms have sea views and balconies large enough for 2 chairs and a small table. The whole hotel is scrupulously clean. Reception welcoming a helpful with some command of French and English. Breakfast is copious and with good, fresh croissants, chocolatines and fruit as well as an array of coffees, teas and tisanes. There is a restaurant (separate) on the ground floor. They have a locked storeroom for bicycles. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, with good beds and bathroom, hair dryer, tv, air conditioning. The many bars and restaurants are literally on the doorstep and the shopping centre starts just metres away. Very pleasant walking along a wide tree-fringed promenade. The beach beyond is flat and sandy and seems to be cleaned every morning. If you want charming, rocky coves, it is not far to walk to the east.

Lovely hotel, perfect location.right opposite the beach, walking distance to shops,bars and restaurants. Clean ,air con, good WiFi, staff absolutely amazing. So helpful and friendly. Breakfast good too and lots of it. Definitely come back.

The room was very ascetic, but clean and comfortable enough for one night's stay. There was literally nothing extra in the room, no decorations, not even a trash can. Despite being very careful about it, the shower spilled water all over the bathroom floor, and there was no drainage for it, so we had to mop it off with our towels.

Personnel à l accueil du niveau d un hôtel de passes … comportement pingre et esprit étroit … bref vous n êtes pas dans un lieu de standing bien au contraire et le personnel a l accueil vous le rappelle de suite ! À fuir !!! Hostess very bad and very stupid behavior The only one thing important for her is the parking in front of the hotel 🤣🤣🤣 very narrow-minded reception staff Sehr unfreundliche personal mit strenge hirn und unhoeflichkeit benehmen Il personale e stupido e se comporta senza educazione … l'unica cosa che guarda tutto il giorno è il parcheggio davanti all'hotel 🤣🤣🤣

Chambre propre, personnel sympathique. Cependant manque cruellement d’insonorisation. Nous entendions tout ! Les débats des voisins, l douche, les voisins qui allaient à un toilettes. N’ayant pas la vue sur mer mais sur une petite cour c’est bien dommage. Le petit dej était correct mis à part les viennoiseries qui n’étaient pas assez cuites. Idéalement situé : en face de la mer, à côté du centre ville. Possibilité de se garer à 500m environ au parking gratuit (parking du marché) derrière la citadelle

Très bel hôtel parfaitement bien entretenu, les marbres sont clinquants, les chambres spacieuses et claires avec une bonne literie, salle de bain impeccable avec bain, la petite terrasse face à la mer avec une table et deux chaises est un vrai bonheur. Le personnel est très agréable et souriant. le petit déjeuner à 5 € est parfait avec un vaste choix qui satisfera les plus gourmands dans un cadre agréable, petit bémol pour la musique type piano ascenseur lol Une très bonne adresse à retenir et à s’échanger

Hotel très bien placé, face à la mer. Personne à l accueil ,Mar, très sympathique, souriante. La propreté des lieux est irréprochable, la chambre donne sur un petit patio. Literie bonne,salle de bains avec douche. Calme. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Pour un deux étoiles cet établissement vraiment très bien. Le prix est de plus très correct. Il y a de nombreux restaurant aux alentours.

Nous avons payé 141 € pour 2 nuitées pendant la route des tapas en mars ! C'est donc un excellent rapport qualité-prix . La situation géographique en plein milieu de Rosas et face à la plage est excellente. l'hôtel et les chambres sont très propres. Le petit-déjeuner à 5 roues est très correct et le restaurant attenant est excellent.
