It is a wedding and event hotel. Therefore, lf you are planning to have a relaxing time, this hotel is not for you. There is shouting of drank people and high volume of music until 4 am . Also, the food is bad. They offer more or less same food every evening. Not suggested at all.

The hotel has a lot of facilities for seminars and large groups. It has a modern look and everything seems to be working fine. The pool is really nice as it’s the sauna, although the spa area is rather small. Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. The room was clean with a very large bathroom. The only inconvenience is the location very close to the road. Although this is not extremely busy, you can hear the more or less constant traffic if you get a room facing that side. All in all a satisfactory experience.

My spouse and I checked in 21 July and checked out 25 July 2022. We had friends that met us there and stayed 2 of the nights we were there. Based upon the review left by bcoondawg, it sounds like we had the same experience. Realising summers in Austria can be uncomfortably warm, we did not wish to book at a hotel that did not have air conditioning. In their description, Krainerhütte states they have air conditioning. THEY DO NOT!!! We too experienced the loud, drunken party noise on 2 of the 4 nights of our stay. I thought of complaining but based upon the poor customer service we received overall, I didnt think it would matter, and judging from the previous review and others it probably wouldn't have. The restaurant only offered a €35 buffet for dinner each night we were there, which is double what it should have been. All the meat offerings were dry and overcooked, and all the food was cold and covered with bees. Although we did attempt to have the breakfast buffet, the large amount of bees we saw on all the food made us choose to go into town for breakfast - VERY unsanitary. Our friends later shared the story of the employee's dog mentioned in coondawg's review. We thought they were exaggerating at first. Again, VERY UNSANITARY!!! The only reason I am giving this hotel a 1 star rating is because trip advisor doesn't offer a ZERO rating. Poor customer service, uncomfortable room and unsanitary conditions.

Krainerhutte Baden Horrible stay 849826042 No. No. No. You do NOT want to stay here. This is my first review EVER. My first night here REQUIRES one. My husband and I booked a 4 nights stay in this miserable hotel for our 1st trip to Austria. Day 1 (Thursday): The location outside of the city is great. The accommodations and surroundings are wonderful but it all means NOTHING if you can't sleep!!! The entire hotel has no AC, which is fine for the winter, but Austria has very warm summers. This is nothing new so it makes no sense that we were dying in a 35 degree (C) room because it lacks AC. I've never stayed in a hotel that lacked AC, not even Alaska. We were given a small fan that simply could not have possibly cooled the room, but did manage to move the hot, thick, stale air around a bit. For the few moments that we did manage to dose off, we were awaken by the extremely loud group located on the lawn, outside the bar, just below us; loud laughing, cursing, LOUD group sing-alongs... I always travel with ear plugs because I realize that it would be quite unreasonable to expect complete quiet anywhere. Still, my earplugs and the white noise of the fan could do very little to mitigate the disruption. When I called the front desk to complain (almost 1AM) I learned that the night reception folk speak no English. That required me to get up, get dressed and go all the way down to reception, after typing my complaint into a language translator on my phone to show to the person at the front desk. Approximately over an hour later (almost 0300), the noise quited a bit and we were able to sleep. Day 2 (Friday): As we left to spend our 1st day in town, we told the front desk that the "do not disturb" button on our door appeared to not work and that we requested no one enter our room. We were told by someone at the desk that they would be sure to let the cleaning staff know. We returned to find that our room had been entered, cleaned and bottles we were saving to refill had been removed. Also, the cleaning staff had left us with only one towel. When we returned to the hotel that evening, passing by the front desk, the same gentleman who checked us in stopped us and told us he learned of the previous night's noise disturbance and appologized. He went on to tell us that the hotel typically holds events that might be a bit noisy in a separate area of the hotel, but that the previous loud guest that were below our room were participants in a conference that ended and they were celebrating a bit louder than the hotel anticipated. He ended by telling me that a wedding was scheduled for Saturday, but we should be uninterrupted because the entire wedding and reception would take place away from our room. Day 3 (Saturday): While at breakfast (a buffet) we noticed 2 or 3 of the guest bringing their dog to the restaurant (something we've become accustomed to). What shocked and disgusted us was when we witnessed someone, who appeared to be a supervisor (based upon w

Also das 2. Mal zur Rezeption, wurde aber schnell korrigiert. 3.
