"The hotel is located in a secluded, quiet area. A rental car is required. The guest base consists almost exclusively of seniors and hikers. There were no families with children at the hotel during our stay, which is hardly surprising, as there is absolutely nothing there for children. The breakfast was good and offered pastries as well as savory options and fruit. Freshly squeezed juices were missing at breakfast, and the filter coffee could have been improved. The room was light-filled and pleasantly decorated. Cleanliness was acceptable, except for a few spots in the bathroom. The hotel pool looks inviting, but is ice-cold and completely unheated. Due to the cold water, almost no one swam in the pool. Overall, it was still a good stay, as the hotel is a good starting point for hikes."

"A truly wonderful hotel. With only 9 rooms, the staff focuses on making every guest experience exceptional. The location is great, central enough to explore the Island and come back too every day. While the view from, and upon exiting, your room will take your breath away every single time. All of the accommodations are top notch, the bed was supremely comfortable and even the linens and towels had a plush feeling. Breakfast options can be slightly redundant but the quality and freshness of the ingredients, along homemade jam and juice, as well as a flexibility to switch things up on the menu, more than make up for it. We the hotel restaurant is excellent for dinner as well. So much so that we ended up defaulting to it more than once during our stay. We also appreciated small details like the phone they provided upon check-in that followed us everywhere on the island for spur of the moment suggestions and reservations through the hotel! All in all, highly recommended, my wife and I know we’ll be back!"

"We are happy with the service and location of the hotel. There was a large selection for breakfast, an interesting system for ordering an additional breakfast. Very good gym, we were there every evening. The presence of a sauna is also a great solution to relax after daily hikes in the mountains. We were pleased with the availability of parking spaces near the hotel. There was some kind of system error when checking out, I hope the staff solved it. Since we were in a hurry to the airport and could not wait for their information to be updated, we simply gave the keys to the room."

"We had a lovely stay at ANC. We spent 2 nights there after flying in from NYC. It was nice to have the pool, the terrace and be in walking distance to the beach (even though when we went there was too much seaweed to swim) most of the people at the front desk were very helpful. You can also walk to Caloura. These were all good things as we got acclimated from jet lag. Peaceful. One person in particular helped me with reservations and good details on our plans. The dinner was good and the breakfasts seem to be the usual fare, a good variety. We’d recommend staying here."
