Great location, friendly staff, very good breakfast.
Spa area: cold water, the jacuzzi did not have all the massage functions working, not enough sun loungers, extremely slippery floor if you use your slippers.

Our stay was incredible! The food at the restaurant was absolutely delightful, and the service was perfect. The hotel itself is modern, spotless and comfy.We didn't have time to see everything that we planned, we will definitely return to this hotel.

I stayed at DoubleTree Lagoa Azores on a solo trip, and breakfast at Frondoso quickly became my favorite part of the day. The variety was amazing—fresh pastries, tropical fruits, and even made-to-order eggs. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. The peaceful atmosphere, with lots of natural light, made it the perfect spot to relax and plan my day of exploring. If you’re staying at the hotel, don’t miss breakfast at Frondoso—it’s a must!

What a beautiful experience.. from entering the hotel meeting Mariana at the front desk to meeting her other colleagues Marcino, Dario, Nicole , Diane and of course the duty Manager Anita. Breakfast staff the best Carolina and Vania ! The service at this hotel was top notch . The hotel is clean well kept and run very efficiently. Every need well anticipated and addressed promptly.

First Class amenities with exceptionally helpful ,cordial staff especially those serving a delicious,nutricious breakfast every morning.Front desk staff were very helpful. Everyone with whom we interacted had excellent command of English. During our 11 night stay;we met only guests whose manner and conduct was fitting of such a high quality hotel.

We absolutely loved staying at DoubleTree by Hilton in the Azores. The hotel, and the rooms, were extremely clean and well taken care of. The staff is super efficient and kind making you feel welcome all the time and worried about your every need. Breakfast was amazing, with great quality and variety. The location of the hotel is perfect for people who wish to get to know the island with easy access to every point you might want to visit. It has free and easy parking right at the door. The indoor pool, sauna and turkish bath are something to die for, definitely worth the visit. Honestly, it was just the best experience and I highly recommend satying at the hotel.

This was the first time that I´ve been to Azores and I stayed at this beautiful hotel, I loved the food, my room was very comfy and the staff was amazing, among them I met the employee Márcio Vieira. He was very friendly and professional, gave me the best tips of restaurants and assured that I always had something to do. This trip exceeded my expectations, the hotel had a very nice location and for sure that I´ll be back to enjoy everything that I missed out.
