"I would recommend to all my friends and families! This place is amazing and all the staff is friendly and helpful. The activities (especially the Sungai Kernam Forest Therapy) are interesting and worthy. Taman Nagara is the oldest forest in the world, please visit this place if you have time. The room was clean and comfortable, and surprisingly, the food was good too!"

"The room was spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness was on par. The best part is the direct access to the beach. The beach was super clean. Just that due to the location was a bit remote, it was hard to get food supplies except for the one at the resort cafe. It would be be good if the resort can provide a mini mart where we can get instant food when the guest are hungry at night."

Outstanding
BblackbirdThe resort was beautiful and clean. I got a villa fronting d sea and it was beautiful n romantic
Clean room, comfy bed and the staff were so so friendly especially Mr Fadil who works at d restaurant. D resort opened just 7 months ago so its very new. No beach activities like canoeing or snorkelling yet to renl.
The only disappointment was d BBQ which lack varieties and very slow to be prepare. For $150/pax its very costly!! Other then that I love d resort n might come again Minus d BBQ hahaha
GGuest UserJapamala is a resort that I love so much that I am afraid to write a review for fear that more people will know about it and I won't be able to book it. Distinctive style design, private beach, wooden villas (large and comfortable enough), essential oil spa, barbecue, snorkeling; great breakfast; I have to mention that the staff from top to bottom are very friendly and polite. I came here with my friends for three days and two nights, and I will bring my family back. I recommend staying for 4-6 days to really enjoy the slow life.
AAnonymous UserIt was a wonderful time at the secluded resort. would like to point out a number of points for future residents:
Positives:
1. the houses are very nice! Even though they are a bit outdated, they are clean and still stylish. Everything you need is there, the staff carefully collected all the necessary hygiene supplies. Bathrobes, slippers - everything is there.
2. The territory of the hotel is just gorgeous - wild fauna, the first coastline, stunning views. Very nice pool.
3. Tranquility - no noisy parties - keep this in mind. This was a giant plus for us.
4. The staff is great. Very attentive, cordial, always happy to help
But there were a couple things that are still worth mentioning:
1. The biggest problem is the restaurant. Please solve the problem with the menu. Every time we had to guess - what is there and what is not. But everything that was, was delicious 🙂 Also - the staff is very cordial and helpful, but still slow - you have to wait a long time for your dish, and to invite the waiter is not always quick.
2. activities and SPA are expensive. I understand that the resort, but still in conditions of monopoly the price is overpriced.
3. There were stains on the bed linen, bathrobes and towels. This should also be noted.
But these minuses do not interfere with the enjoyment of this beautiful place! I recommend everyone to visit this beautiful resort!
FFarizaMy family had a nice stay at TDR. It lived up to our expectations and MORE. I am writing because I would like to commend the resort for their help in locating my missing backpack (left at the ferry jetty). When we realised we were missing an important bag (dont ask how, things happen i guess) we called the resort and asked the help from the staff to check if we did leave our bag at the jetty which was a 10 minutes-walk away from the resort. They immediately went to check but the bag was not there. It seemed that TDR didn’t just leave the matter at that, and I dont know how they managed it, but 6.5 hrs later they called to inform me that the bag was on another ferry on its way to a different jetty 30 minutes away from us on the mainland. Kudos to the Bluewater ferry service for picking up the abandoned bag and sent it to their office albeit at a different nearby location. Again, I dont know how but i am so glad that TDR was able to get that information and relayed it back to us. After more than 8 hours of despair, with God’s will, we got back our bag with the help of the staff of the resort, the staff of the Bluewater ferry service and possibly the networking within the small island. Thank you so much for the help TDR. Thank you for making this a really memorable trip with a happy ending.
YYogeeY@mStayed 5 days. Staff service is friendly and warm. Their rates for island hopping and snorkelling trips are the best so there is no need to look elsewhere. The standard rooms at the pond areas are surrounded by monitor lizards, great for those who want to get up close and personal co living with the dragons. Else, the rooms near the beach and pool are great options. Swimming pool needs more constant cleaning as the water is murky. Buffet breakfast has good choices but is repetitive if u stay for more than 2 nights.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located at the south end of Getting. There are a few dive shops, a duty free shop and a few restaurants in the area. It is a relatively quiet area of Tioman. The room was clean but simple, with comfy beds.. There is no kettle in the room but hot water, tea and coffee was available at reception. The beach is a one minute walk from rooms and we were able to rent a kayak for the day for a small charge. The hotel manager provided excellent service and will arrange snorkeling or boat trips on request. We even saw sharks, dolphins and a turtle on our snorkeling trip! The hotel area has many cats wandering around which is an extra plus of you are a cat person! Overall, it was an excellent stay for the price.
GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely magic. The location is stunning. The beaches are pristine and water is clear and warm. There are activities for everyone: golf course, games room, pool tables, swimming, scuba, snorkeling, fishing and more. We took advantage of the great conditions for snorkeling and managed to see young sharks and turtles. The garden chalets are clean and comfortable with air conditioning and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Most activities are within waking distance but they have open carts to transfer you around the resort if you so choose. Transfers to/from Tekek jetty are also included. All the staff went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Thank you Adriana and everyone at Berjaya Tioman Resort for a once in a lifetime trip.

HHv NobodyHotel transport to jetty is not free, will charge RM30/person per way. The cleanliness just ok and we stay 3 days no ppl help to clean the trash, this will need to have improvements. The staff is friendly and the night view is really good. There’s bar on the beach, can have some alcohol and enjoy the night sea view.
WWEIThe hotel owner is Chinese, so domestic friends don’t have to worry about language communication problems. The hotel environment is very good. I personally like nature and virgin forests. This hotel meets my requirements. It’s the most primitive feeling when you come out to play. The cabins are unique and I like it very much. It’s not far from the pier. There is a duty-free shop at the end of the pier. Similar to small shops in China, Tioman Island is duty-free Island, you can book a BBQ with the hotel owner. Breakfast is toast, nasi lemak, tea, and coffee. The hotel is not a five-star hotel. Those who mind are careful
