Romoli Hotel

Appio Latino Rome|1.7km from Tribuna del Circo di Massenzio
This Hotel in the suburbs of Rome is a true jewel. It is situated just next to one of the most beautiful natural parks of the Eternal City: The Caffarella Park, bordering to Via Appia Antica, the old Roman road to Brindisi. In Caffarella Park and on Via Appia Antica you can walk, bike, do jogging or just have a great picnic. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and supportive to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast area on the rooftop terrace envites to enjoy breakfast in the sun (or later the day for an evening apericena!) and plan your trip. The breakfast buffet has a rich choice and way above average of other hotels I have been in Rome. If you ask for a Cappucino - or any other coffee - they will pepare it for you (so not just coffee machines, which are allright though, providing good quality coffee). The rooms are very clean, bright, and cleaned up daily - if you wish provided with fresh towels. They are well equipped (TV, AC, bath, toilet etc.) and spacy. The place is quiet, the WiFi works reliably. It is possible to park the car within the hotel compound (so safe!) and there is plenty of space. I biked a lot and rented a bike in town, the hotel offered a save place to store it in the hotel compound. The metro station (Furio Camillo) is a 10 minutes walk from the hotel and the closest bus station (Nr. 628, going directly to Piazza Navona!) a 2 minutes walk away from the hotel, on Via Macedonia. There are good shopping opportunities in the neigbourhood (e.g., supermarket with good choice, a shop with typcial italian food ... ) just 3 walking minutes from the Hotel. Nice restaurants (don't forget to go to GoodGood on Via Latina!) in the area will make your stay even more joyful. I highly recommend this hotel for relaxed holidays.

The hotel is very modern, lovely sized room and really comfy bed! You get a hairdryer in the room (ladies!) and there is a mini fridge to leave your own drinks. Aircon worked perfectly and some fancy lighting above the bed! Really close to the 160 bus stop that takes you to the centre of Rome for €1.50 (pre pay on the app!) and also some lovely restaurants and cafes for food. Short walk from the 716 bus to take you to Rome Termini. Lovely staff- although confusing when one member let us have water complimentary and another charged for it. Only improvements would be to have tea coffee in the room for in a morning, and also don’t expect the Beth room to be super clean- in need of a little TLC.

Great swimming pool, open 24 hours, breakfast was good, but only open until 9:30 am. The restaurant Orto di Roma around the corner was excellent. The room had its own bathroom which looked good. I was not allowed to swim after check-out and stay at the location even though check-out was already at 10:30 AM, which I found very strange and unfriendly. I was also not allowed to invite a guest to the swimming pool, which was a shame. I thought the location was very bad, there was nothing to do in the area and you really have to have a car or book a taxi every time to go to Rome center. The double rooms looked very cozy with a small garden, but the single room was very uncomfortable.

Honestly,my experience this hotel is a little bit lower than equivalent level hotel. The mattress in this hotel is not bad. However, unfortunately, it mattress gonna be only point I satisfy with it. The service is normal, but their equipment maintenance is concerning, there are several bulbs down in my room and the shower door in the bathroom seems hard to push. Most importantly, air conditioner in the room is not powerful enough which is a terrible infomation for tourist in this summer. The picture attached in this comment is it outside environment,it might be not clear enough, but I have to say it outside is too dark😂, but it is not a luxury hotel in city centre, therefore it is still acceptable . This hotel is generally good, but there are still large spaces that it can move forward to increase it customer satisfaction.
Relais la Torretta

Set in a bustling suburb of Rome with very few other tourists around, the Relais is a short hop on the Metro from the major sites. Leisurely 10 minute stroll to Ponte Lungo Metro stop from the Relais. Rooms are comfortable, simple and nicely decorated. Air Con works well in each room. Only 4-5 rooms in total on one floor set around the small breakfast area. Warm welcome from the owner. Limited English. Don't expect a slap up breakfast. It is a simple, fresh and quick start to the day. Great restuarants and bars around if you go exploring and the market at the end of the road was open every day which was nice to browse before heading out. Would definitely book again for the future. It's not far from the rail line so there is a bit o fnoise from trains but it wasn't an issue.

Very convenient location, close to bus station for any direction and 15 minutes by walking from subway. Silent room, clean, with a small kitchen, cattle and fridge. Very good breakfast, Perfect service, nice and friendly staff. Parking is a bit complicate as space is narrow.
