The hotel is in an alley, and the two ends of the alley cross two large roads. Single rooms are very small and may have something to do with the surrounding Spanish steps (luxury street). Rome spent a total of six nights, four nights here, and two nights around the Colosseum. Hotel location is not convenient. Because of daily meals, taking the bus, the subway is a little distance (500 meters). It's more convenient and cost-effective to eat around Navona Square. The outer hotel may have larger rooms. But if it's not an in-depth tour, this hotel is just a good place to stay in Rome for 2-3 days or like shopping. Breakfast is good, the apple pie is much better than other hotels. In addition, although Rome can be completely walked, but a little deeper to explore, still take more buses to save physical strength. Attach two pictures of Caravaggio. The latter is in the church of Saint Louis near the Pantheon.

The hotel has an excellent location, located near Piazza di Spagna, very safe, within walking distance of the famous sights of Rome, there is a park on the Piazza del Popolo, walk to the top of the hill in the morning, you can see the whole view of the Vatican, you can also see the Arc de Triomphe. . . Sohel, the handsome guy at the front desk, was very enthusiastic, and there was a handsome Filipino guy who prepared breakfast and was very warm and thoughtful. . . Next time I go to Rome will stay, highly recommended

We stayed in Hotel 55, Rome for 4 nights. The room for 3 was adequate. Breakfast is excellent. Service very courteous and the location tops it all. In Rome, location is the key. Every other location is walkable if you can walk for 20-30 mins. This is prime location for shopping as well.

My sister, brother-in-law, and I stayed at Hotel Manfredi in early November 2022 and we could not ask for more in a hotel. My hotel room was perfect, roomy, and comfortable; after a long day out, it was great to come ”home” (yes, I thought of it as my home in Rome). The breakfast, which we were lucky to enjoy a few mornings was delicious (it's not just a donut and coffee - I mean I am talking a full spread including eggs, tarts, cheeses, bacon, hash browns and more) so filling that we could skip lunch, which saved more money to spend on dinners. The staff was very kind and attentive to our needs. When my brother-in-law suddenly had a health issue, Roberta came to the room to make sure he was ok. He needed a doctor later and the hotel staff helped arranged for one to come to the hotel room! Made a scary time, less scary. This review is long over due. I will be returning to Rome soon, and I know Hotel Manfredi is where I want to stay. And did I mention that it is in a beautiful historic building? The wide elegant stairs are gorgeous and makes you think you are in another time. The hotel location is fantastic on Via Margutta, very near to where parts of a ”Roman Holiday” was filmed. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. I also enjoyed the Italian tradition of passeggiata after dinner every evening - I didn't gain one pound even though I was eating upwards of three gelatos a day, and a huge amount of pasta. You feel safe walking around the area because everything is still mostly open after dinner and lots of people are out strolling or eating again. The food in Rome is amazing, but I don't have to tell prospective travelers that!! Come to Rome and stay at the Hotel Manfredi! I will again soon.

What a wonderful little hotel in the madness of Rome. Was welcomed with such warmth from reception and arrived early but was told our room was ready which was a very pleasant surprise enabling us to start exploring the city. The rooms are lovely and big with a large wardrobe and desk, very comfortable bed and a very large bathroom. Breakfast was a great choice with a warm welcome from Adriana who was always genuinely interested on our plans for the day. All of the reception staff very extremely helpful on giving us recommendations for restaurants and bars. This hotel isn’t a boring corporate hotel but a genuine Roman family hotel and treats their guests with such warmth. It’s location is perfect so be able to walk to all of the major sights and has some great restaurants and gelato shops within seconds of the door.

I chose this hotel based on many positive reviews from many platforms. And I experienced all of the positive reviews. And for the first time I would recommend hotel to my friends and families/relatives. The two rooms were the best : the view, size and amenities. To my surprise, the minibar provided as complimentary. Breakfast : the best breakfast I ever had after more than 30 years traveling for both leisures/family and business trips in Indonesia, Asia and Europe. On top of the buffet menus, we were offered breakfast that personalised for our needs/tastes. Now, two weeks after we left the hotel, my wife and daughter keep telling me about to comeback again to Rome just because this hotel …. All the staffs were helpful and almost excellent. Keep the good work guys, as this hotel’s experiences were the oasis in many disappointments about Rome. One small note : It was a little bit difficult for me to find this hotel, and taking up two large luggage up to the hotel lobby was a little struggle

1. The location is perfectly centred for enjoying Rome. Via Frattina and it’s cross Via del Corso are essentially walking streets with minimal vehicle traffic. Relatively little noise for a downtown location and an extremely safe feeling both day and night. Medium to high end shopping outside the door. Too many restaurants and outdoor cafes to count. The main Rome attractions all walkable ( and we’re seniors). Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Borghese Park( cool shaded relief), Plaza Navona, Pantheon all with 10 minutes. Also easy walking to the Colosseum and the Vatican. 2. The hotel has only 19 rooms which have all been recently renovated- modern, marble and chrome, small but efficient and good value price wise. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning as a Covid safety measure. 3. As with many small hotels staff is only there until 10pm and passcard entry afterwards. All three of the rotating front desk staff - Ariel, Maria and Romina were extremely helpful and efficient. 4. Sumup. We stayed three nights both upon our arrival in Italy and again prior to our departure. Complaints about stairs in some other reviews are way out of proportion . Stairs and hills are Rome! It’s also not a five star hotel in the classic definition- lobby, consciege , bellboys, etc. but is the perfect location to start a Rome vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Art Hotel. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and our request for our two rooms to be near each other was accommodated. The rooms were very comfortable and everything we needed was available. The breakfast choice was vast and very fresh. One annoyance: the restaurant chairs are very big and heavy; great for couples sitting at a table, but not brilliant for three or more people! The location of the hotel was fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere during our four night stay, with a great choice of restaurants, cafes and wine bars only a few minutes walk away. I don't often like to visit the same hotel twice, but if returning to Rome, would certainly book Art Hotel.

We’re just returning from a lovely 4 nights stay at the Hotel Homs Rome. Staff… the staff were all really friendly! Room:.. the room was excellent with a super comfy bed… and excellent sound proof windows deadening any street noise! Breakfast:.. breakfast was more than adequate with a coffee/tea machine, scrambled eggs and bacon + a continental style brekky option available too and a selection of pastries/cakes! There is also a lovely little coffee shop by the reception serving Coffees/tea and numerous cakes with a very friendly barista chap! Location:.. the location was excellent, 5 mins walk from the Spanish Steps, 8 mins walk to the Trevi Fountain… Also just 5 mins walk to Metro 🚇 Spagna Station, where it’s just 15mins to the Coliseum and similar to the Vatican City! My tip:.. pre-book all your tours, don’t leave it to the day as you’ll find yourself standing in crazy long queues! Would we stay at Hotel Homs again?.. Definitely

Hotel location is very good. In the Plaza of Spain, it is a very safe place in Rome. Very close to the subway station. Carrefour is the most popular in 5 minutes. The hotel has a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, which is very convenient. Very good homestay, worth recommending.
