Hotels Near Theatre Vascello in Rome

This was my second stay at Nerva Accomodation Cavour, and I was completely satisfied. We arrived about 9pm having chosen the self check-in option: access to the hotel and room were via PIN codes supplied by WhatsApp, which worked fine. Room was perfectly clean and had air conditioning controlled by a remote control. Staff were available at breakfast, which comprised tea/coffee and a selection of pastries and yoghurts. A little noise could be heard from other rooms, but nothing disturbing. Location is a short walk from both Termini station and the Colosseum.

I was nervous about travelling alone for the first time, but the staff (Alessio, Flavio, Martina and Bianca) made my trip unforgettable. The team are so funny and friendly. Alessio (the bar manager) provides the most entertaining atmosphere and is a true credit to the hostel. My private room was clean and comfortable with beauty Italian decor. The guests were a mixture of solo travellers and groups (generally 20-40ish) but everybody was made to feel welcome and included. Thank you to Alessio and the team for a phenomenal experience!

We stayed here over the May 1st long weekend, we had coupons for three nights which still included an increase for this period, and obviously we weren't expecting luxury, but I was disappointed by some aspects and I'm writing this review in a somewhat conflicted way . On the plus points, the location is certainly excellent, excellent for transport, you can easily reach the metro and buses, as well as the station, and once you have learned the streets even the center or the main monuments are not that far away on foot (from 10 minutes to 20). At the hotel they were also kind enough to keep our luggage for us even after check out, because we had the train in the late afternoon, so as not to wander around all day with our backpack on our shoulders. The room was ok, clean and just the right size, only the bathroom was a little small and without a bidet, but for a few days you could be satisfied. The disappointment concerns the services. At the reception we waited outside the door for 20 minutes because the doorbell didn't work and I had to call on the phone several times. The manager was never seen except at check out and we almost never found anyone in the hotel... before 9am and from 3pm there isn't a living soul... we didn't receive any information or suggestions regarding travel or places to visit or where to eat, or about events... no practical indications... in reality we felt quite abandoned to ourselves... The only suggestion is a bar to have breakfast on the last day and one of the most expensive in the city.... The linen in the room was changed only on request.... No agreements with bars and restaurants, and being a bed & breakfast it could be useful... moreover, Rome is undoubtedly a large city and you cannot expect to reach everything in a few minutes on foot, but once you learn shortcuts and the right streets you can also get around quite quickly, perhaps it would be enough to take a road on the right rather than the left... it's a shame that we only understood this on the last day... if we had had more directions perhaps we would have avoided so many unnecessary km... and we would have seen more things... Having said that, it remains a good solution for the location but customer care definitely needs to be reviewed which is why I think the prices are a little over the top...

Cosy room. Close to transport, amenities deceiving as linked with other hotels, spa area not in this hotel but another up the road. Upstairs balcony/ bar not in service anymore but ok for a quiet drink you can take up as self service. Coffee not great, suggest to go elsewhere. Amazing seafood restaurant nearby would highly recommended, SaTanca Crostaceri.

I'm sure that each of us has his own scale of factors to evaluate whether a place is beautiful or ugly but that the added value is the people. In this clean, nice and very comfortable hotel, near the Roma Termini station, it is precisely the people who make a small hotel a point of reference for our trips to Rome. Paola from the reception was, and is, the person who followed us during the booking process and who went out of her way to help us project our photographs on a wall, in a small room set up just for us, a small group of photographers arrived in town for a two day photography course. We stayed here for our first ever trip to Rome. We chose it because of the proximity of public transport, (there is a bus stop right outside and a 3 minute walk to the Metro). The hotel allowed us to check in early as our flight arrived early. We had asked for a nice room with a view as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We were in room 506. The view from the room was Ok, we could see the mountains in the distance but there were also some suburban views. The Hotel gave us a bottle of local Prosecco in the room which was a lovely touch. We dined in the hotel and the food was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable with a good size en-suite. The surrounding area is a bit suburban, but that did not matter to us, the public transport access was more important to us, from the hotel to the Collesseo stop was around 18 minutes. Good helpful staff, good food in the restaurant very easy access to the city centre. recommended

Sono un'insegnante, siamo andati con un gruppo di 35 alunni ”vivacini” di terza media. Ci siamo trovati benissimo: posizione comoda zona Termini, locale rinnovato pulito e ordinato, colazione completa e abbondante, set di cortesia e asciugamani rinnovati giornalmente, servizio di vigilanza e di manutenzione sempre disponibile e tempestivo; prima di partire ci hanno addirittura gentilmente stampato le carte d'imbarco. Lo consiglio vivamente per esperienze di questo tipo.

Location is amazing, walking distance to Termini train Station. Metro and Busstop 200m. Very clean, good breakfast although Coffee was cold one morning. Has A/C and a small fridge, didnt use it though. Stated in a Single room w a Single bed, very comfy. Shower is very small so a 'bigger' person might have problems to get in the shower. WLAN works perfectly. Stuff is nice. Restaurants are close. Stated 3 nights it was perfect for a City Trip.

Liked the location of the hotel in EUR Rome. The rooms are nice and clean, good TV channels including BBC and CNN. The experience was ruined by the 1 hour + noise from the trucks loading and unloading skips in the next door Euromax shopping centre. The banging noise is horrendous. Sara did offer to replace my room but as i had 1 more night i didn't bother. The breakfast area is very busy and chaotic, takes a long time to get coffee from the Barista's. The breakfast items are okay but nothing substantial, they are very supermarket affair. The corridors are boring and dull and definitely 3 stars. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Euromax shopping centre next door is an excellent diversion on a rainy day.

Movie Movie Hotel has quite new facilities, not like the dated hotels in city center of Rome. It was only 3 minutes walk from metro A line station. The hotel upgraded me to top floor with a spacious room. Everything worked fine. The only complaint was the tiny shelf (not a table) next to the bed. I found not much space to put things next to bed. Other than that, seriously it was a good discovery for visiting Rome for future trips.
