Rose Garden Palace Roma by Omnia Hotels

Via Veneto Rome|2.61km from Parco di Via Statilia
We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

Good location, very convenient by bus, walking to the Colosseum is also very close. When I arrived at night, I couldn’t find a place to live and die. I didn’t think of the hotel in a church. When I was sleeping, the quilt was very thin. I felt that all Italy was a thin quilt. Breakfast was not good. I drank the most difficult coffee to drink so far. I suggest that I should find a cafe outside to enjoy breakfast.....
The Cross Hotel

Termini Central Station
We stayed at the Cross Hotel for 3 days. The hotel is situated within walking distance from a metro station and a 25 min walk to the Colloseo. The hotel is recently renovated. The Lobby is very nice. Rooms are ok and has very comfortable beds, safe, tv, emptey minibar ( can be filled at extra costs). Little bathroom with shower, hairdryer, showergel… The hotel has also a garden terras bar where you can try some cocktails from 16:00 until 00:00Pm. Breakfast can be much better, little choice, pastries not tasty at all… breakfast is not recommended. for a short stay this hotel is definitely worth its 3 stars. staff is very helpful from receptionist to porter.

We came to Rome for the second time and picked this hostel for the price and location! Best decision we could've made—great room with AC and a private bathroom, super conveniently located. Enjoyed a discounted breakfast at the hostel, perfect for budget travelers like us! Thanks, Mike. See you soon!

Hot welcome. Full and immediate availability. Good and varied breakfast. Comfortable bed. I'm very sorry about the death of IGOR ( the cannon ). I'll certainly be very happy to come back when I was in Rome, as I did before the pandemic.

Recommend you find another hotel while visiting Rome. Not only is this hotel located pretty far from the city and major attractions, but it is in a very sketchy area. It is the people that hang around this part of town, but also the rats/graffiti/garbage/smell of urine, etc. all over. Our room, specifically, was extremely dirty. The shower and bathtub looked like it had not been cleaned in years. There were a ton of dead flies all over the bathtub when we checked in, and the bedding had blood (or some other bodily fluid) stained all over it. The toilet barely flushed. Yes, there is WiFi - but the rooms have hardly any amenities. No tissues, and when we asked, we were given toilet paper. The walls are paper thin so expect to hear EVERY thing. The worst part about this hotel is their ”breakfast.” 1 stale role + 1 croissant that tastes like it is from a wholesale store like BJ's or Costco. There is a cold cereal served as well. Don't expect to have any of the authentic Italian treats you think of when you think of Italy. They don't even offer fruit. My suggestion is to make sure you specifically order a cappuccino, because their regular ”coffee” is instant and one of the worst I've ever had. Even if you're ”just looking for a place to sleep” I suggest you stay elsewhere.
Hotel Espana - Gruppo Blam Hotels

We decided de fa na gitarella and thought and thought where to go The choice fell on the beautiful capital. We therefore committed to searching for Ed Hotel Espana we chose in the immediate, that his photos and reviews immediately removed our apprehensions. We came to the waiting structure and the one we found was in great surprise: in the whole room, all pink and flowered, the atmosphere made colorful. A comfortable and spacious bed Synd for the bad: The bidet and the shower were completely closed And the good intentions were abandoned. In general, however, we must confess that it was not a stay to forget, so 3 stars are our ratings with the hope of providenive inspiration.
