Hotels in Rome

We were somewhat concerned when reading the reviews on this place after booking the rooms but I think for the price it's a great place to stay while visiting Roma on a budget. The staff on hand where friendly and efficient, the rooms were good , everything functioned fine and we had breakfast and happy hour wine in the early evening, Rooms, bed were clean and comfortable, don't get me wrong this is not 4 star hotel, its a hostel. Would I stay again......mmmmm yes I would, it fitted my needs perfectly. Bring a small padlock for the lockers or just take anyvaluables with you, right next to the termini rail hub this place is great to settle down b4 you hit Roma. Kitchen, outside garden, bag drop locker room which is locked up, lifts to upper floors and good travel guests that shared our 4 bed dorm with ensure, I hope to be back someday soon, thanks Freedom Traveller

The boss forgot that we were going, and the result was waiting for two hours outside the door, but the room was large, and it was close to the city center, and the price was still quite good.

The staff here were pleasant and we communicated okay, however there was rarely anyone on reception. The rooms and reception are on the 4th floor and you get given 4 keys on your check in, the front door key sticks slightly so wriggle it and it will open eventually. There is a lift for easy access with cases etc. The room was a small box room with a bed, desk, wardrobe, fridge and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with a memory foam mattress which was a nice surprise! Freshly made and cleaned daily. I do suggest you bring ear plugs with you as it is a very loud area with the tram right outside the front door and building work currently happening across the street, it was not a pleasant wake up call at 6am.. The extractor fan in the bathroom was also very loud. Very close to Termini station which is ideal but the area wasn’t the best. I travel often on my own so I was quite confident walking around at night but others may feel quite anxious. People constantly stop you to try and sell you things and comment on your person. It was full of quite daunting men when you’re a 25 year old women on her own. Definitely don’t wear a dress unless you want met leering at you and commenting on your assets! Breakfast was different.. you pick the time you want it and what you want on check in and they deliver it to your door in the morning which was lovely but I only had it twice because of leaving for trips and it only being served between 8:30 and 9:30 and if you have to be somewhere by that time it’s no good. It consisted of a coffee and a pastry. Good room for a place to sleep whilst you’re exploring but would say it’s about a 2 star.

The location is very good, about 5-10 minutes walk from the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica, and also very close to the subway and bus stations. In addition, the management staff in charge of check-in was very enthusiastic and explained to us the general distribution of attractions and suggestions throughout Rome. The living environment is very good, exceeding expectations, and it is highly recommended.

This is a bit like a homestay. You need to check in by yourself without a front desk, so it will be relatively troublesome to enter the door. The language service is relatively simple. You can speak English and local languages, but the room is still very clean and the equipment is relatively new.
