Hotels near Monument to Victor Emmanuel II in Rome

Let me talk about the advantages first: The hotel location is very good, in the city center, it is quiet. It is next to the Trajan Market site, next to the road is the ruins of the ancient Roman city and the Piazza Venezia, and the Colosseum is within 500 meters. These attractions are tired, you can go back to the hotel to rest and recharge some energy before going out. Breakfast is on the top floor. The hotel is not on the side of the road. The front desk is always on duty. The personnel entering and leaving are clear at a glance. There is a sense of security. The room was soundproofed and seemed quiet, with no noise at night. The front desk and restaurant service staff were welcoming and friendly, and the check-in and check-out were very fast. They called for a taxi when we left. The breakfast type is slightly monotonous, almost the same, but the quality is very good, except for vegetables, there is everything, coffee can be à la carte, delicious, and worthy of praise. Few Chinese people live in this hotel, almost all Western tourists. The hotel is old and the rooms are a bit dated but clean. The lobby is luxuriously decorated, simple and elegant, warm and pleasant. Worse: because it is an old hotel, the elevator is very small and can only accommodate 2, 3 people. The flush switch in the bathroom of the room where we lived was a wrench type, and it was inconvenient to pull it back after flushing. Heating and air conditioning are not powerful, and the noise is high. The TV won't turn on, and nothing happens when I press the remote control. I asked the waiter to open it once, and didn't come out the next day. I simply didn't watch TV again. Overall good, recommended.

We stayed this perfect place for honeymoon. First of all, the owner was so kind and friendly. He gave us very nice room. The bed and pillow were fluffy so we had very comfort and deep sleep. The view that we saw everyday was fantastic. I'll recommend here to my friends, family and anyone who visits Rome. :)

Very good, I really can't say bad. The view on the top floor faces the Venetian Square, and the room also has windows facing the Venetian Square, which is great. Very satisfied and very happy.

Writing this review as we check out today, we were really pleased with this hotel and our stay. Although this is a 3 star hotel, the service of the hotel staff is 5 star, they really can’t do enough for you. The location is good, about 10 minutes to the Trevi fountain and about 15 the other way to the Colosseum. The room itself wqs clean with good AC and had wifi. For the price paid for our room, we were really happy with our stay and would recommend to others.

 The hotel is in a good location, the room is comfortable , the front desk staff is courteous and thoughtful, but we came to celebrate the anniversary hotel but we failed to give away drinks  Disappointing and unfortunately, and the price will be better if it is reduced, and we will stay again in the future! 

I chose this hotel based on many positive reviews from many platforms. And I experienced all of the positive reviews. And for the first time I would recommend hotel to my friends and families/relatives. The two rooms were the best : the view, size and amenities. To my surprise, the minibar provided as complimentary. Breakfast : the best breakfast I ever had after more than 30 years traveling for both leisures/family and business trips in Indonesia, Asia and Europe. On top of the buffet menus, we were offered breakfast that personalised for our needs/tastes. Now, two weeks after we left the hotel, my wife and daughter keep telling me about to comeback again to Rome just because this hotel …. All the staffs were helpful and almost excellent. Keep the good work guys, as this hotel’s experiences were the oasis in many disappointments about Rome. One small note : It was a little bit difficult for me to find this hotel, and taking up two large luggage up to the hotel lobby was a little struggle

My family had the privilege of staying at the Hosianum Palace in Rome from June 29-July7, 2023 to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We had two rooms - one for my young adult kids and one for my husband and I. The central location was safe and very convenient for a first trip to Rome with family, allowing us to walk to almost every site we wanted to see. It was also an easy walk to delicious dinners. The hotel was quiet at night. It was very clean and comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the wonderful team. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful (thank you Alessandro for everything!). The breakfast was well stocked with a good variety and a welcoming, professional team (thank you Leonardo for taking such good care of us). The housekeeping team took excellent care of us as well, with prompt and attentive service. If we have the opportunity to come back to Rome, we hope to stay at Hosianum Palace again!

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

A hotel that is all online from appearance to service to location Google score 4.7 You don't lie to me! ! The four-star newly opened in 22 years, the service & environment can reach the five-star in my heart When you check-in at the hotel, there will be staff who will introduce you to Rome's attractions and routes, as well as recommend nearby restaurants and food There is nothing wrong with the room except the bed is a bit small The whole room faces Venice Square, and you can enjoy the scenery from the window sill anytime and anywhere The toilet area is large, and the shower has a special seat for the disabled, which is a plus Dutch Rituals for washing and care, so-so but at least a brand Because of the birthday, the hotel sent a bottle of champagne + handwritten greeting card at night Tiramisu + champagne for breakfast🍾️ There will always be staff saying happy birthday I give full marks to the hotel courtesy 💯 The most important thing is that the average daily price during the tourist season is €500+ I got cash on Ctrip for €100+ (1.2k including double breakfast)🥹 If you come to Rome next time, this must be the first choice💗

La colazione è a dir poco fantastica. Mai mangiato così bene a colazione, è ricca, buona, tutti prodotti freschi, anche il pane è fresco. In più ci sono anche cose fatte espresse dallo Chef Delio che sono una cosa sublime. Il personale è gentilissimo, le camere sono pulite e molto accoglienti. Il letto è comodissimo. Consiglio questo hotel, la mia recensione è da più di cinque stelle. Veramente un hotel top! Se tornerò a Roma, tornerò sicuramente in questo hotel.
