Hotels near Monument to Giuseppe Mazzini in Rome

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

It looks like a newly renovated hostel. The interior facilities are really clean, and the staff are really friendly. Because it shares an entrance with another large building, you can see a large garden. For only 5 euros, you could eat as much fruit, various breads, coffee, and milk as you wanted!

Very dated but perfectly adequate. If you are looking for luxury, this isn’t for you. We were very comfortable in our double room. There were folding beds provided for the children and a very firm queen sized bed. All the linens were impeccably clean. Lots of large towels provided. Very small shower/bath, but again, perfectly adequate. The room decor is as if your old rich Italian grandfather decorated in 1940 and hasn’t updated it since. About a 15-20 minute walk to the Circus Maximus. All other sites further. Surrounding area is not particularly touristy, which is nice. Plenty of nearby restaurants, cafés, bars, gelaterias etc. Small, expensive grocery store right across the street but if you walk 8-10 minutes you can find a couple that are more affordable. Bus stop right out front and you can easily bus to any of the major sites within 15-30 minutes for €1.50 each way. Excellent breakfast included. We were particularly pleased with the gluten-free options. Our celiac child enjoyed gluten free bread and hazelnut spread with fruit, bacon and yogurt every morning. Affordable laundry service available across the street. All of the staff at the hotel are pleasant and helpful. My only major complaint- no fridges in the rooms. A mini-fridge would have greatly heightened our enjoyment of the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was nice, neat and clean and an adequate size, though not spacious. Staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is great. The location is also wonderful, located in a square with a fountain and a huge selection of restaurants, cafés, gelaterias, bakeries etc closeby. The only downside was noise- from the lift, and other rooms and an alarm on the last night

We had a ground floor room, with doors out onto hotel garden - a lovely tranquil space, and it's easy to forget that the location is in the heart of bustling old Rome. Rome itself was very small, but had everything needed. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Probably only criticism would be that the hotel appears well-worn, and in need of a renovation, and would be more comparable to a 3 star hotel in UK, rather than 4 star. Fridge in our room didn't work, and the bathroom, though it had everything was very cramped, with a very small shower cubicle (no bath). That said, it is very clean, and appears to be well run. But I would definitely, and happily go back.

I chose this hotel based on many positive reviews from many platforms. And I experienced all of the positive reviews. And for the first time I would recommend hotel to my friends and families/relatives. The two rooms were the best : the view, size and amenities. To my surprise, the minibar provided as complimentary. Breakfast : the best breakfast I ever had after more than 30 years traveling for both leisures/family and business trips in Indonesia, Asia and Europe. On top of the buffet menus, we were offered breakfast that personalised for our needs/tastes. Now, two weeks after we left the hotel, my wife and daughter keep telling me about to comeback again to Rome just because this hotel …. All the staffs were helpful and almost excellent. Keep the good work guys, as this hotel’s experiences were the oasis in many disappointments about Rome. One small note : It was a little bit difficult for me to find this hotel, and taking up two large luggage up to the hotel lobby was a little struggle

Location is good and easy to go around. Very near train station which makes this hotel superb. Air-conditioning needs to inform counter to make the room more comfortable, but they get it done. The room is comfy, but not the cleanest. Breakfast is good, there is enough spread to make yourself very full and well hydrated. If I ever come back to Rome, I would stay there again. For the price, cannot complaint

Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. I stayed here for 5 nights in May 2023. I loved this hotel! It was clean & modern with a well-lit and very comfortable room. Tons of outlets, nice closet space and a decent hairdryer. The elevator came quickly but I only used it with my luggage and used the stairs the rest of the time. Breakfast on the beautiful rooftop with self-service coffee machine and a nice selection of quick foods. The staff was kind and helpful. They arranged for a taxi to bring me to the airport at the end. I’d definitely stay here again,

The room is spacious enough for me and my friend to open our luggage at the same time and still lots of room to walk around with the case opened. The bed and linens are comfortable. Desk to long and wide, with two chairs allow us to use and put on daily skin care together. Only if they could setup slippers in room and add in tooth brush and tooth paste in the bathroom then it will be perfect. Location wise there are quite a lot of restaurants around and it is very close to the central terminal, just a 5-10 minutes walk. You can also take bus or train around to travel around attractions in Rome very easily. There are 2-3 receptionists in the check in counter, they are very knowledgeable to Rome and hotel product knowledge, hope they could keep smile on faces and more friendly. Also I request a non need service to our room to the housekeeping attendant on the second day, but we came back to the room and found it was cleaned. Attached the photo is the door stopper which I found good for the attendant they don’t need to bend their back and also to protect the door from getting starches at the same time.
