Very good stay experience. The entire hotel is an old Italian brand designed in light luxury style. The service from the handsome guy at the hotel front desk was great! Like 👍 When the room assigned to me was on the second floor, I asked if there was an elevator? The handsome guy replied without hesitation, ”I am the elevator🛗”, which made me laugh out loud! Awesome 👏Feeling like home. Because we were staying for 4 days, and the breakfast was exquisite and rich, everything was so comfortable and considerate. The Italian beauties serving in the restaurant were always very sweet and attentive, taking good care of everything! There is a wonderful historical church opposite the hotel. It's also very close to the Colosseum. When I left, it was still early before the train departed, so I entrusted the handsome guy to store my luggage, which was no problem. I am also worried that foreigners will be fined if they call a taxi. I want to ask how much does it cost for a handsome guy to go to the station? The answer was no problem, and he would help us solve it. We contacted the taxi company's customer service on the phone. When the taxi arrived, he paid special attention to the driver. Sure enough, the taxi fare when we got off was less than what he told us. I should give it 5 stars in every aspect🌟👏I will come back as long as I am in Rome!

Clean , comfortable hotel, well situated and very helpful staff. Bathrooms recently upgraded so very smart. Breakfast was ok . Only downsides were the lift not working ( but not a big issue for us ) and the ongoing building work at the hotel…do they really need to start banging so early ?

”I recently stayed at this lovely hotel located in a charming area. Despite booking the cheapest option, the room was very tiny yet surprisingly comfortable. However, it's worth noting that if you have more than one bag, space might be a bit tight. One of the highlights of the hotel is its proximity to the train station, restaurants, and bars, making it convenient for exploring the area. While water wasn't provided for free in the room, there was complimentary tea available at the reception, which was a nice touch. Overall, I had a good experience during my stay. The cozy room, convenient location, and thoughtful amenities made for an enjoyable visit.”

Excellent. Stayed four nights and was very happy with our choice. Superior room..Poppea was a really good size. Spacious bathroom with large walk-in shower which was much appreciated. All amenities in apartment. Staff were very helpful and obliging throughout the booking process and while we were there. Arrived drenched by a sudden downpour! Booked directly with the guesthouse and had an airport transfer arranged as well. To keep in mind - It is an apartment not a hotel with reception only between 10am & 2pm. But excellent choice, more space than a hotel room and excellent location close to major attractions

I have never been to a place where a hotel feels like home. This is one of the amazing benefits of staying in Ostello Bello. The staff, bartenders, and night shift felt like absolute family by the end and I truly will never stay anywhere else while in Rome. Fravio (hope I am spelling that right) made my trip with his kind and friendly demeanor. All of the bartenders made me feel at home and welcome at all times. Treating me more than fairly in every citrcumstance. The rooms were clean and nice, with working showers and good facilities. I truly have nothing negative to say about my visit.

Located in the middle of tourist spots in Rome, but awful service. Firstly, when you enter the hotel with all the lagugage, there are many steps which make it difficult to carry your stuff. The room was very small, I wanted to heat up my food, they said the microwave doesn't work or exist 🙄🙄🙄🙄the worst part was breakfast only hot thing on the menue was scrambled eggs ham, which were both tasteless 😳😳watermelon was the only available fruit, which most days they brought lame excuses why they can't have it, 🤔🤔🤔the juice was powder mixed with water 🤔🙄😱, the cakes and cheese were entirely tasteless, mainly factory packaging, not homemade, for a hotel with this price, the breakfast is awful 😣😣😣

Triple room in short notice in Rome, we may be lucky to find one, but rather expensive what it offers. Good location; Termini and two Metro stations near, 20 minute or so walk to Piazza Venezia and beyond(Colosseo is even before) Basic needs for stay are more less there; Enough room for three, bath, beds, a desk and a chair, a closet, a fridge(very weak..) and a miniature TV. Unfortunately mattresses are old, short, and hard. Need up to date textile of rooms as one can see in the photo…. Reception is manned 24 hours. Problem with hot water, which is not hot, just about warm enough not to freeze under the shower so need to hurry finish washing. Only amenities are; small bar of soap, small sachet of creamed wash gel. Cups are all plastic. No kettle. But plenty of towels (and bidet.) For our three nights stay, room cleaning seems not to be done thoroughly for some nights. Inclusive breakfast is the same everyday; 2 choices of cereal, pack of biscuits, pot of yoghurt, sweet croissants, slice of bread for toasting, sliced cheese and ham/salami, boiled eggs, a coffee machine, teabags, and a juice machine. One morning there were not enough plates, so we needed to use plastic plates. Check out is early, at 10am, but they keep your bags till late. We arrived early before 2pm, but they let us check in. All staff are friendly and helpful. Rather classic deco of hotel interior, I didn't mind.

Stayed with my niece in a ”Family Room” on the 3rd floor. The room provided the desired level of privacy while still staying together. The main bedroom was separated from the sitting room (that was setup with a pullout couch) by thick drapes allowing each of us to have our own space. The bathroom, that was through the sitting room, only had one sink, but was still large enough for two people to get ready at once. The room was complete with amenities such as kettle with instant coffee and tea, mini fridge with beverages, bathroom amenities including dental and shaving kits, bathrobe and slippers and nice large towels. The breakfast room with beautiful views all around was a great way to start the day. The breakfast offering was pleasant (not the largest spread but enough to start the day and save room for lots of other Italian food). We also enjoyed the rooftop bar, The American. Tasty table snacks were served with the drinks. The bartenders were friendly, and also happy to make creative cocktails not on the menu. As all reviews note, the hotel is in a great location. Really easy to get around and plenty of restaurants to enjoy at night. It is true that any hallway noise could easily be heard in the room, but given all of the other positive attributes to the hotel, I won't let that deter me from booking the hotel again.

The location is quite concenient: there are highly-rated restaurant and ice cream parlor downstairs. The front desk service is also warm and attentive. (And he showed some Chinese sentences to me and speaked really well.) The room is small (10 m*m) but warm and clean. There is also a small refrigerator with two bottles of water as welcome. The only issue is that the soundproofing of the room door is not very good.

So, while the location is not in the centre of Rome, it is within 7 mins of the Circo Massimo Metro, which will get you to the vast majority of major attractions within 15-20 mins. However, for those of you who like me, love to walk and explore places, it's the perfect compromise. Literally, on the doorstop of attractions of such as Circo Massimo, Knights of Malta Keyhole, The Mouth of Truth and the Altare della patria. There are other sights to see while walking from the hotel. On arrival at the hotel, the staff there were fantastic in looking after me. I'd had a bit of a long walk, so I was looking a bit hot and flustered, so she immediately offered me water and assistance. The hotel itself was beautiful. It was really quiet and peaceful. The room and facilities were superb. I had a robe, slippers, and tea making facilities. Curiously there didnt appear to be a safe, but didn't need one so never asked any questions. The slight downside side was that there was no breakfast served. However, there is a cafe 100 metres down the road who do a lovely breakfast. As a solo traveller, it was too bad but a family may think differently. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard which would be perfect for breakfast or evening meals. I guess it must be a purely financial decision. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. I have to govd credit to those on duty on 21st ans 22nd May. They were a credit to the hotel. In summary, a great hotel, great facilities, great value and wonderful staff.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean, hot water, tv, comfy bed, large bathroom and most of all an amazing view. We couldn’t have asked for more from the location, it being right next to the colosseum and the metro line. The owners were lovely and gave us so much appreciated information on the area and restaurants etc. They also messaged during our stay to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and we will be revisiting. Couldn’t ask for more.
