Pro: we have chosen this hotel to be close to Termini Station and to almost all touristic objectives in the 4 days /3 nights we stayed in Rome. The price for 3 days was decent given the fact that we stayed during Catholic Easter. The reception was open 24/07 and the receptionist was kind and polite. Cons: The first thing that we have observed was the small room we had (2nd floor), with a green carpet but extremely dirty. It was now cleaned weeks ago it seems. I have photographed everything because the cleaning was not ok here. At all. The marble floor was dirty in the bathroom as well when we arrived but also during our stay. Nobody cleaned the floor. The cleaning lady arranged our bed and we had clean sheets and towels. The hotel has no restaurant, even though they have the room for it and it was nicely arranged. No food was served at all. Only a machine for coffee, teas and salty things.

The stay was lovely. The place was clean and very close to the train station, and subway. Enjoyed the stay. Very helpfull and kind staff. Good service. Nice and clean accomodations. Highly recommended. Daily housekeeping. Body wash/shampoo replenished on low, shower cap and towels provided. Hot water (tight shower area). Hair dryer, room safe, coat hangers. Floor is cold, bring your own house slippers. Friendly and approachable staff. Good breakfast spread: hot food (eggs, rice, cheese, ham, beans & carrot, mashed potato), coffee & tea with honey, toast, yogurt, cereal & milk, fruits (I take apple and banana up to my room), pies & cakes. Large dining area. 2 negatives are (1) location, long distance from Roma Termini train station and downtown (2) I have to carry my luggage up to 2nd floor (can get porter to help, but pity those on 3rd).

The hotel is in a good location, 4 stars, at the first stop of the city sightseeing bus. The whole room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is quite large, but it is a bit noisy facing the street! The breakfast is also very good! The retro elevator is very cool! The service is also good, the front desk can store luggage, book sightseeing buses, and book taxis.

I booked this hotel and read the reviews after, I was quite worried…. I can honestly say our experience was very different to the negative reviews! The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms not huge, but it was nice and clean. We had fresh towels and sheets everyday (I know as I got makeup on them) It’s a city break so it was perfect as a base for us….Get out and explore! Yes, there is a school behind but when you are out most of the day you don’t even notice it. Even at the one point we did hear the children you’ve got to be some kind of monster to find children’s laugher offensive, we didn’t mind it at all. The metro is right at the end of the street and a great way to get around. There is a fantastic gelato place to the left at the cross roads that’s open really late. We had a fantastic stay, if we visited Rome again I’d book this hotel and would 1000% recommend to our friends ❤️

The hotel is ideally located near the Termini station, making it easy to get to and from the airport. The room has a high ceiling and large space. Two large and two small luggages can be opened at the same time. The disadvantage is that the water pressure is not hidden, and the curtain cannot be completely covered, and the bathroom floor will be wet after the shower. Constant temperature air conditioner, the air conditioner can only be activated when the temperature reaches 23 degrees or above, and the window must be opened for air to circulate, but the window is not open when sleeping. Breakfast is ok, come for a quick breakfast before going out. Overall, it is a good choice for this price and location!

We stayed at the Cross Hotel for 3 days. The hotel is situated within walking distance from a metro station and a 25 min walk to the Colloseo. The hotel is recently renovated. The Lobby is very nice. Rooms are ok and has very comfortable beds, safe, tv, emptey minibar ( can be filled at extra costs). Little bathroom with shower, hairdryer, showergel… The hotel has also a garden terras bar where you can try some cocktails from 16:00 until 00:00Pm. Breakfast can be much better, little choice, pastries not tasty at all… breakfast is not recommended. for a short stay this hotel is definitely worth its 3 stars. staff is very helpful from receptionist to porter.

The rooms have a bit of old-style charm and are spacious and comfortable, especially when travelling with multiple family members. The buffet breakfast at the top floor offers a wide variety of good-quality items, and is truly a highlight at this hotel. The service staff is friendly and attentive, and will rush to your aid when experiencing any difficulties. The cleaning staff helped us when we were having issues with the key, and the desk staff helped us change to a different room without any questions asked. Truly very friendly.

I only had a short stay here but I enjoyed my time. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was a quirky place, easy to navigate round and I found it useful to be able to use the lockers before and after my check in/out. I found the price to be more than reasonable and would definitely recommend.

- Room: A traditional apartment was converted into three rooms, with a small kitchen and a common area for each room. Each room is different and the space is quite large. In fact, it is more like a shared apartment. The room should have been newly renovated not long ago, and the facilities are OK, but it is not very soundproof. However, many European hotels are not soundproof either, so there may be no way. - Location: A love-hate location, very close to the train station, right next to it, but the streets are really messy and dirty, and there are hidden dangers of unsafe conditions. You need to be very calm and strong when going out. - If you are passing by for a transfer, or don't mind the chaos in Europe and Africa, you can stay here. If you are on vacation and have a similar budget, it is best to choose other areas. - In addition, the check-in time of this accommodation is 5 pm, which is later than ordinary hotels. Otherwise, there is an additional charge of 25 euros, and an additional cleaning fee of 100 euros. To be honest, this is a bit of a pitfall. Booking also has many homestays, but many do not have such charges. They are classified as hotels in Ctrip, so it is easy to ignore them. - Checking in is also quite troublesome. You have to fill in a lot of information through Google sheet before check-in. It is not friendly to many people who cannot use it and it feels informal.
