Environmental sanitation facilities are good in all aspects, but the location is a bit biased. It takes more than 20 minutes to get to the Vatican City bus. It is necessary to transfer to other attractions. If the price is not particularly cost-effective, it is recommended to choose the A line subway station around the more convenient.

Hotel was convenient for us to attend the tennis Italian Open at Fort Italia. It was close enough to walk but neighborhood was very dirty and unkept, full of young adults at night at local bars, however, never felt unsafe walking around. We had two rooms- one was excellent very spacious and nicely furnished. The other room was in the basement with a terrible smell, ugly view and very tiny. The breakfast was average, nothing special! The customer service was fair. When returning to the states and receiving my credit card statement, it was apparent that I was billed twice for the same charge. I contacted River Chateau and they insisted they did not, therefore, my bank is pursuing the refund. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Decent little hotel for a few nights but found the staff to be a bit grumpy, only get a thin sheet instead of a duvet, was happy that I got a balcony not all rooms do, got woken up at 9 even though check out was at 10 in the morning
