Property Description
We are NOT a hotel but a GUEST HOUSE and that is an extra-hotel structure. We do not have (and do not want to have!) The style or the services or the prices of a hotel in the same area. In short, we are not a hotel that costs less, we are a different type of accommodation: smaller, more familiar and definitely more informal! VERY IMPORTANT: To avoid waiting please remember to tell us your arrival time AND call or text our mobile number as soon as you arrive in Rome. We also invite you to check the type of room you have chosen: we have different types of rooms that have different prices and therefore different sizes and values: we would not like you to have booked, for example, an Economy room thinking of having a Superior room and then being disappointed ! On all sites photos correspond to the various TYPES OF ROOMS, so take a good look before choosing Our location is fantastic, we are in the most fascinating district of Rome: Trastevere. If you are looking for luxury or exclusive services, we are not the place for you !! If you are looking for the truest and most genuine Rome, its colors, its warmth and its great beauty, you are in the right place! Being in the historic center of a nearly 3000 year old city involves narrow alleys, old houses, steep stairs, etc. but the atmosphere is simply magical! And after all this ranting a little advice that comes from the heart: be travelers and NOT tourists, try to see places and people with an open mind and heart ........... it will be a fantastic experience!

The hotel is located in a very beautiful and colorful place. You need to be prepared that until 11 cafes are closed. The rest of the time you can eat at every step. The breakfast at the hotel is not bad, but everything is from the store. But there is a big plus - a coffee machine in the room. The staff quickly responds to any request. Since the building is old, there is a smell of dampness, but the design is very colorful. From the hotel you can walk to all the historical places.

They are deceiving because they don't say that it is a house with rooms and to access it you have to climb 26 steep steps and we are people over 60. We had to go look for another hotel, we had to pay more and the owner of the house did not accept a refund. They should be more honest in the publication of the site and list it as a house with rooms and not as a hotel.

My spouse and I stayed a couple of nights at this property in Trastevere. It was a wonderful stay as the unit was quiet, clean and very close to the shopping and eating area of Trastavere. We walked to all our booked historical sites and even to our Termini station. The check in went smooth and Lucia was there to meet us as planned. We had breakfast and snack items in our fridge and also located in the main eating area were more breakfast items waiting for us.It is a continental breakfast..We felt safe and very comfortable in our room.We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful room. Very comfortable bed! Communication was excellent with the staff. The only complaint we had was our towels were not drying so we put them on the floor after the second night to get clean towels, but did not get them. Also, we were supposed to have wine in our room when we arrived and we didn’t get that either. But you could not beat this area!

Magnifico Beautiful B and B right in the heart of Trastevere. Restaurants, shops, and lively atmosphere just steps away. It is not handicap friendly. You have to navigate stars but worth it.

Safe space for female travellers. It was very noisy in the night, with garbage trucks and people shouting in the street with disregard for people sleeping nearby. (Easter weekend) As women travelling, we did feel safe staying here-everything locked up tight and Mike the attendant present and helpful. Spraying faucet needs repair. Room super clean.

Pros: The Ventisei is in a great location in the Trastavere neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and bars and gelateria and a very social vibe. Easy to walk to other parts of Rome from the place. Miguel was extremely friendly and let me in early and showed me around the place, which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable and I loved making my own coffee in the room. I liked sitting outside with my coffee on the tiny terrace. The price of the bed and breakfast was very reasonable. Cons: There is a restaurant right next door and it was noisy at night so if you're an early bird like me, it's not quiet. People who like to stay up would probably not mind this. The breakfast was processed snack foods which I didn't eat. In the fridge was juice boxes, yogurts, milk, some cheese and 2 water bottles which I enjoyed.
