The hotel is very close to Termini station, you can easily get around. The host was very helpful and gave us a map of the tourist attractions and, more importantly, several restaurants nearby.

Truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this hotel. The owner, Mario, was beyond helpful, accommodating, always available, genuine, and AMAZING. Cannot say enough great things about him and his property. This is not a high end luxury hotel but the experience was more enjoyable than any stay we have had at these high dollar options. We would highly recommend giving his property the opportunity to make an enjoyable visit to Rome. FABULOUS all around!

The room we had looked clean-sheets and towels however when inspecting for bed bugs I discovered that the mattress was extremely stained and should be thrown away and also the pillows. Also when flushing the toilet or turning on the faucet we experienced a very loud noise. I’m aware that the showers in Italy are small however our shower was so small an average size person could barely fit. Lastly, I wouldn’t call this place a hotel maybe a hostel.

Fantastic accommodations, brilliant host. This was the perfect Little Guest House, Turkey felt like home from home. Mario is so welcoming and friendly, he made our visit extra special. Would definitely stay here again, without doubt. Spacious room, felt cosy and authentic. In the kitchen there is everything you could ask for. Tea selection as well as a coffee machine, fridge etc. it was roughly a 5-10 minute walk from the main train station in from FCO airport.

We stayed here on arriving and leaving Italy. Chose for close proximity to train and sights, right near the baths of Diocletian which was amazing, and top restaurants, cafes, supermarket and gelato all walking distance. For the room, we found it a bonus, it was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable and true to photos. Great views. We had a great balcony and lovely private bathroom. The couple who run it were so friendly, helpful and especially great to arrive back and feel so welcome.

On arrival we were greeted by Mario, who was very helpful and friendly. He gave us lots of useful information. The room was small but it was all we needed as we only used as a base. The bed was comfortable. The shower was very small. But overall it was a nice room. The location was good, close to Rome Termini. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay

This perfectly situated hotel, easily walkable from Termini and the major sites, is the best bargain in the area. I have been staying near the station when I come and go from Rome for more than a decade. From now on this will be my first choice. I had a very heavy suitcase which the lovely owner Mario carried up the stairs for me. The room was average size for Rome, but clean and comfortable. An added plus is the little shared kitchen area where you can make coffee or tea and keep things in a small refrigerator. Since I am very familiar with Rome I didn’t really need any help, but I often heard Mario giving assistance, suggestions and recommendations to the other guest. You can’t beat the welcoming environment at Relais Indipendeza!
