IQ Hotel Roma Reviews

The hotel is about 10 mins away from the Roma Train station. Location is superb as it’s close to train station and bus depot to get a ride to Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport. It’s also close to some major attractions like the Colosseum and Spanish steps, either via Metro or walking. We particularly enjoyed the good spread of cheese, cakes, fruits and food for breakfast every morning, for 12 euros per pax. Another bonus is that the drinks and snacks found in the room and minibar are all free of charge as well. My first such encounter in a hotel in Italy, hence I’m very pleasantly surprised with the sweet gesture.☺️

Great hotel. Brilliant location. The gym was so clean, loved that. And the restaurant was superb! I’d happily stay again.

Excellent. Rooms are large enough, clean and comfortable. Good service and amenities. The only thing is it could be noisy down the street at night and birds become active around 6 am

We loved this hotel. The reception was very friendly, efficient and informative. They booked taxis when requested, our room was ready early and stored our luggage on check out. The breakfast was superb, with alternative milks and an Asian theme, the first hotel which had stirfried vegetables on offer. There was also a gym and restaurant bar on site. We loved the common areas where we could sit down and get some air. There were vending machines available with food and drink too The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom and shower was lovely. The toiletries and slippers were very welcome. Great to have a tea and coffee making area. Snacks and free water were a very nice touch, as we had just arrived from a long train journey and didn’t need to trapse around the shops. Great to have a mini fridge. Plenty of sockets for our devices. All the staff we came across, were very friendly which gave the hotel a warm feel. We met some other travellers the next day and they were not having the great experience that we were. We are planning another trip to Rome at some point and will definitely stay here again. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Good size room and free drinks and snacks daily. Good variety at breakfast and dining room staff were lovely. Easy to walk to the main attractions but metro and rail terminal were nearby.

While researching the choice of hotel to stay in Rome, we came across IQ Hotel and the reviews were great. So we took the opportunity and booked this hotel. It was worth the money. The hotel staff are very friendly and courteous. The hotel is within walking distance to some of the attractions and the metro. The hotel's facilities are also very comprehensive including a gym, sauna, laundry, vending machine, ice machine, etc. The room even has free drinks in the minibar and snacks as well as coffee and tea-making facilities. These are refillable once a day. Breakfast was great. We even got a surprise when the hotel staff gave a birthday pie to my friend on his birthday during our breakfast. Thank you to the breakfast crew who gave this surprise. Overall, we have a pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Rome.

We had 3 nights with iQ Hotel Roma and we had great time staying with them. The hotel is within walking distance to Roma Termini, area is surrounded with restaurants. We managed to walk to Trevi Fountain and Colosseum much to our pleasant surprise but the train and bus are alway convinent options. Staff is friendly and always greet us, hotel is clean and amenities are adequate. There is a carrefour nearby which is convenient to grab some necessities and snacks.

Very good hotel, very close to downtown Rome, with delicious Chinese food nearby, a lot of free drinks and water in the hotel room refrigerator, as well as nuts and snacks, all free, really great, I arrived very early in the morning and could take a shower and store my luggage for free, and when I came back from playing in the evening, my luggage was also placed directly in the room, really amazing

I highly recommend this hotel in Rome. The rooms are new and clean. It is in the city center. All soft drinks in the refrigerator are included in the room rate. There are about 5 kinds. The breakfast is 12 euros, which is very rich. Because I love hot dishes and drinking water, I booked this hotel after reading the reviews. It turned out to be a good choice. In addition, the taxi from here to Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica costs 12 euros, which is about the starting price. It takes about 20 minutes to walk~

Very clean hotel, very new, with a wide variety of breakfasts. The train station is about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. All major attractions are very close and can basically be reached on foot. The Vatican is a little far away, and I rode a scooter to get there in more than 20 minutes. Rome is very small, and two days are enough. We booked three days, and the hotel cannot be refunded, so we only had afternoon tea for one day

The basic amenities such as location and free minibar were good, but the room was too small. Other than that, it was okay.
