The hotel is situated close to the Trevi Fountain, within an easy walk to the Spanish Steps and close to a bus stop. There are many shops and restaurants to choose from nearby.
The hotel room was very nice, would be a tad small for two people in my opinion. The bed was comfy and a nice shower. However, in February the room was unbearably hot. Even with their thermostat, it made zero difference. I had to open windows to let cool air in to slightly cool the room but it was way too loud at night to keep them open. After the first night, I inquired about the heat and they told me I had to flip the breaker switch off in my room, which I did, with little difference. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay here again simply because I couldn’t regulate the temperature and I can only imagine how hot it would be in the summer.
Staff was nice and called me taxis after mine didn’t arrive using the local taxi app.
The restaurant across from the hotel had great food and wine as I ate there my first night because I was simply exhausted from traveling for almost 24 hours. It was honestly one of my best meals in Italy and the best I had in Rome.
