everything was ok. experienced ruined on checkout. tried to charge us again for an extra person that has actually already paid. then we realised later that we had overpaid for the city tax and been short changed a considerable amount. watch your cash on checkout

What a great Hotel! We were allocated a room at the front of the hotel on the third floor. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was cleaned everyday and the towels were also changed daily. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I'd forgotten my ID to access the Colossium tour and after giving them a quick call, they emailed my husband with a photocopy of my passport very quickly. Perfectly situated for our planned visits to the sites of Rome. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you Rome Garden Hotel ❤️

Friendly staff, nice room but basic but did have a hairdryer. Take a travel kettle as not one in room. The breakfast was a bit of a strange combo but something for everyone. Check in is 3pm and not before! Bit of a trek into town so grab a no. 60 bus outside

A lovely stay! I had seen reviews about rooms not being in the actual hotel and quite a walk away, upon check in we were guided by a very helpful staff member to one of these rooms, only a minute and a half max round the corner from the main hotel. Very safe and guarded/gated. Although check out and breakfast was at the main hotel it was not a large inconvenience. The room was small but perfectly clean, modern! Comfy bed, fridge and a safe. housekeeping each day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely! We had a very early flight, checked out at 3am, lovely man at reception let us sit and wait for our transfer with our luggage, kept a look out for our driver and when a man came to the door he made sure it was our taxi driver before he let us go, as two young women travelling together, I thought that was a lovely gesture! It was roughly a 35 minute walk from the main hustle and bustle, which we did not mind. It was nice to be slightly out the way, away from loud crowds. A little supermarket on the same road, plenty of restaurants nearby. There were bus stops and metro not far but we preferred to walk. Ubered back to the hotel on the last day from the Vatican and paid roughly 18 euros. Overall it was perfect for what we paid, would 100% recommend!

Basic, clean hotel. Tiny outside patio area with about 5 bistro tables and no garden despite the hotel name. Tiny breakfast room with only 8 tables. Breakfast was ok. Only hot items were rubbery scrambled egg. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Bedroom Doors are not secure. Very thin wooden doors with a yale lock and key - difficult to ensure locked properly and would only take a slight shove to break in. Did not feel safe or secure. Walls are very thin, no one got any sleep - you can hear the busy road and everyone talking in the rooms around you. But the worst was the aggressive and physically intimidating male member of staff who got right into my female friends face and raised his voice at her. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Do not stay here if you’re female. It is not safe or secure and this man’s behaviour towards his female guests was disgusting. We were leaving on an early excision and asked twice if we could have an early breakfast or a breakfast box and both times we were told that was no problem and to come down half an hour early for breakfast. When we did there was nothing ready and the staff told us they knew nothing about it. My friend asked a female member of staff if we could take some pastries that were being put out and she was told yes. As she was bagging some up a male member of staff got right up into her face, intimidating her and being verbally aggressive. He scowled at those of us who were sat in the garden. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
