Nice old fashioned hotel, of the type you can still often find in Italy. Clean, cute, quiet, small room. A duvet would be nice. Beautiful view from the breakfast room.

There is a distance in downtown Rome, but it is very easy to find unless it is at night, and the male info staff was very kind and guided me even though it was early in the morning, and explained briefly with a map.

Our second visit to this hotel. Well appointed rooms with quiet, efficient aircon, bathroom with bidet and good shower. The hotel is just 800m from Piazza Venezia and yet you would not know it - a quiet safe location, mere steps away from Trajan’s column, the Forum, Colliseum and all the main Roman antiquities. The staff are helpful and cheerful. Breakfast on the rooftop room has fab views across church Domes to the top of the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II. The hotel offers a good standard Italian style breakfast - a selection of warm, straight-from-the-oven pastries baked throughout breakfast service, various continental cakes, fruit (locally in season choice of plums, apricots, pears) along with charcuterie selection, cereals and, of course, lots of coffee.

5 star rating all day long. Although the hotel is cental to the city centre, only minutes stroll from all Rome has to offer including bars and restaurants it is in a very quite district. I'm a light sleeper was not disturbed once at night. The concierges are very helpful and friendly as are all the staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean and serviced each day. The hotel overall is very clean and tidy. Breakfast served in the rooftop view restaurant is all and more you could wish for with unlimited drinks and food. I can recommend this hotel 100%

The hotel is in a good location. Quiet street yet close to attractions. It was clean and well maintained. The staff who were always helpful and pleasant. The hotel gave us everything we wanted and we would love to go back one day...... thank you!

I spent almost a week in this hotel with my family. Everything was practically perfect. Close to everything important (10/15 metres on foot), rooms always cleaned every day, and the service/people always friendly. Thank you for the friendliness and the experience!

The Hotel Bolivar saved our stay in Rome. The place we'd originally booked turned out to be Not As Billed, and after some desperate phone calls, we found a room at the Bolivar, and were so happy we did. The location is quiet, but central-- we walked everywhere. The service was attentive and friendly. The breakfast was generous (and the breakfast staff gets special praise!). Our room was lovely, with stars on the ceiling, and very clean. Was it super-trendy? No. Was it comfortable and attractive? Yes! Thank you for rescuing us, Hotel Bolivar!
