Casa Sotgiu Guest House

We had a fantastic experience in Casa Sotgiu. The room was tastefully designed, cosy and clean and made us feel right at home. The place had a comfortable bed, also a large and a very clean bathroom. The place had its exciting history and it was also exposed to the visitors - the paintings, poem books, a bookshelf with classics. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good - a very good coffee, fresh croissants and other bakery, yogurt, fruits, cornflakes, cheese and ham - something for each taste. The location was perfect, with easy access to places of interest. I would highly recommend Casa Sotgiu for anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable stay. Thank you for a great experience!

Overall a very nice stay with a beautiful room, and dining area! A few things that were of concern were: The entry and elevator to 4th floor were not clearly marked and the representative didn’t meet us in lobby to greet us and get us to the location. After carrying our luggage around lobby and several text messages to representative requesting directions, I had to ask for him to come down to lobby to greet us and help us get to the unmarked elevator area. Also, we had a difficult time taking advantage of the breakfast because of the late window: 8:30-11:30 am. Many days, we had morning tours at 9:00. On New Year’s Day, no one showed up to serve breakfast until quite late and there was no prior notice of a delay. We went out to get breakfast at 9:00 and came back to find late breakfast service at the bed and breakfast. The facility was very clean overall and beautifully decorated. The continental breakfast and coffee was delicious. Altogether, I would recommend this bed and breakfast.

Great hotel, at a good price! One issue is that it is REALLY hard to unlock the door. Like I spent 30 minutes trying to unlock the front door. Another couple came along and they spent 10 minutes trying to unlock it. I never thought I would mention something like this in a review but it was seriously so annoying that I would say you don’t have unfettered access to the hotel

Great spot about a mile from the Vatican. Room was clean with more space than other bed and breakfasts. Nice bed that isn't too firm. Helpful staff - messaged me ahead of my arrival, allowed us to drop our bags off earlier than check-in.

They arranged a driver to pick us up at cruise ship and to take us to airport. As our flight was early Christina left us a basket of croissants etc for us

We totally loved this place! A bit of a retro look to it. Lovely room (temperature was kept cool). Very romantic. Highly recommend

Comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. Clean, well designed rooms. Smells beautiful from entrance to inside the rooms. Good selection of food for breakfast. Location is a bit away from city centre, more near the Vaticans. But it is minutes away from the Metro which is convenient.
