Spanish Diamond Luxury Suites & Jacuzzi

The room was suitable for our needs. Great location for shopping. Easy walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Panthean but just over 30mins walk to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Definitely buy the Colosseum tickets before you go as the queues are massive. We bought tickets online for a guided tour of Colosseum and we by passed all the queues so was well worth it.

Gorgeous room, absolutely loved it. Very modern and perfect location, as it was very close to everything. Although I did find a bra behind the chair in the room. The room was decorated on request from my boyfriend which they did a lovely job at €50, yet cash was preferred for this service. Very small hotel, with no reception just one lady who was available only at certain hours of the day, so if you had a late check in this may become an issue but for me personally it worked out ok. Despite this I enjoyed every minute at this hotel and would definitely go back.

The property was lovely, clean and comfortable. Arrangements were made for checking in after hours. The room was very clean and comfortable. Elevator to the floor which was great with luggage. Only critique was no shower door, water splashed out of the shower onto the floor. There were a good stock of towels so it was an easy clean up. Safe in the room which was also a great feature. Pictures and property looked the same. Great espresso machine, stocked mini fridge. Lovely stay!

So although the property was in a great location, it was not a hotel but a condominium/room. So if you came to the hotel after hours, there is no one in the front to help you if needed. I found it to be a little overpriced for just a room and no service. The location was amazing but most of Rome is walkable distances anyways. If you’re looking for a hotel this is not it.

Location was not really good. area was no light and nothing beside. Also entrance was not nice and little bit felt not safe area.

The property and room are beautifully decorated and staff are very helpful and friendly. Only a few minutes to walk to the Spanish Steps and other attractions.

The front desk was only open from 10-2 but that worked out fine. The lady at the front desk was amazing. The room was the most comfortable bed we had for the entire month. AC was cold and the suite overall was spot on.

Booked Spanish Diamond back in Feb 20 for my Partners 60th in Nov 2020. Little did we know that Covid would kick in and halt all travel throughout the world. Anyway, break got cancelled and a voucher valid for one year issued to rebook at a later date. . Covid saw to it that travel was never an option. So, left on the back burner until such time as we felt OK to travel. This is where things go wrong. Spanish diamond have taken payment and put us down as a "no show". This was question via email and a voucher issued. We have now tried to reinstate our trip to Rome. Spanish diamond have told me the voucher has expired and we will need to rebook at a cost of €170 per night! They will offer a discount of 20%... wow.. contacted ebookers regarding getting some assistance with this matter... useless... Tried to explain that with travel bans, Isolation on arrival (at our cost) and possibly on return a 3 night trip was never an option. I'm now £440 out of pocket with BA holding the flights on a voucher to use b4 2023. We have been in contact with Spanish Diamond all the way fru lockdowns letting them know how Covid affected our plans... I will NEVER book fru ebookers again Shocking trea**ent from both party's

The room was perfect, best bed I've ever slept in and giant jacuzzi bath. Self-catering but we knew that going in. Staff were great and on hand when you needed them. Awesome, would definitely return. Book it!
