Luxury on the River

Very good place to say. Friendly receptionists who will try their best to accommodate your needs.

I had a great stay at luxury on the river. The inside lobby and lounge was very cool and had nice vibes. Room was super easy to get in and locate. Had everything we needed, ac was working. Bathrooms were clean. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Louisa was super nice. I'd recommend the library themed room with the loft. Was very unique. Thanks again!!!

Truly the worst experience I have ever had staying anywhere in my life. The rooms, and quite frankly the entire building, smelled musty, moldy and dirty. The room itself was filled with mold on both the ceilings and the floors. The AC does not work in the rooms so be prepared for no sleep and sweating to death in the room. If you care at all about your health, breathing and sleep, do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else but this place. This is the furthest thing from "luxury" and this place should honestly be shut down it is so gross beyond repair.

I would give no stars if I could. This was by far the worst place we stayed in all of Italy and was an awful way to end our trip. Thankfully we only stayed here one night, otherwise I firmly believe our health and well-being would have suffered greatly. This hotel is FILLED with mold. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting with dirt and mold everywhere in the shower. The ceilings were unlike anything I had ever seen before there was so much mold on them. You are hit with the awful stench of must and mold the second you walk through the door and I truly regret not turning around right then and there. Additionally, upon on check in we were told that random men would be working on changing the locks of all the rooms while we there. We were never notified of this previously and this was completely unacceptable to know that strange men were entering in and out of our room with our belongings inside. Not to mention that they were still there when we had returned from a brief walk to get ready for dinner and there was constant jiggling and beeping of the new door handles as if someone was going to walk right in at any moment. We did not have any comfort in the room what so ever and had to be on high alert at all times for the sake of someone possibly walking into our room. The room also had no AC. According to Luisa there was AC but if that was the case then they must have hit the controls under the bed or something because the room must have reached 100 degrees that night to the point where we had to open the windows in order to get any relief. We then could not sleep with the fact that the window/door situation in the room letting in all the noisy street sounds and bugs. My wife is pregnant on top of all of this and knowing that she had to sit there and breathe in these moldy disgusting fumes all night was unbelievable. We had also tried to bring these concerns to Luisa in which she had agreed to refund us to avoid any negativity being posted about this stay, however that was a complete lie. Even though we paid via credit card we were told to send over our personal, sensitive banking information in order to be refunded. Which we ended up doing, however from that point Luisa then completely ghosted us for 3 weeks with no refund as previously stated. So now not only was this stay absolutely horrendous, but now this place also has all of our info that they are doing god knows what with. I firmly believe this place is being run by a bunch of crooks who truly do not care about hospitality, their guests, or the conditions of their hotel what so ever. I will be attaching several of the pictures of the mold here as well so you can see for yourselves the terrible conditions that this "Luxury" on the River has. This whole entire place should be condemned by the city of Rome. I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay here.

Absolutely amazing stay! Beatrice and Luisa are helpful and great about communicating if you need anything. The location is centrally located for all the must see places like the Vatican, the historic district, trevi fountain, etc.

Very Nice place right on the Tevere . The Hotel is within walking distance of most attractions we had 2 rooms. Both were different, both large, and both very comfortable Great bathrooms. Staff is courteous and extremely polite and helpful. I would stay here again

Absolutely fabulous guest house with the friendliest staff who are willing to help you with everything!!! It's very central and you can walk to most of the tourist attractions. It overlooks the Tiber river and prices per room are reasonable! Thank you to Beatrice and Louisa for making our stay a memorable one!

Awesome hotel, with a friendly helpful staff and terrific location! We were in the "small suite" that is more like a nice one bedroom apartment. I loved the views over the Tiber River. Everywhere we went on our stay was within an easy 30 minute walk, with a multitude of restaurants and shops within a 10 minute walk. Yet the building feels separated from the insane energy of Rome. I can't recommend this place enough.
