Located in the center of Rome, it is convenient to travel. It is a B&B-style hotel with a kitchen, microwave, etc., which is good.

On arrival we discovered major building work was taking place. There was covered scaffolding stopping the shutters in our room opening more than a couple of inches. So room always dark, with no natural light, and we did not want to open the window for fresh air as this would of just let building dust in (plus builder right outside our 1st floor window so no privacy anyways) When we complained that we should of been told of the work before arrival , when we had the option to cancel with no charges (and we would off) they basically said; no one else complained, it still offered a service and it was cheaper than some hotels in area!!! We ended up having to move for last 2 nights of holiday. This was very stressful and expensive as having to find at short notice I have never left a negative review before, but I thought I better try to warn prespective guests as the guest house won't

I have never found such a terrible "b&b" (if you can call it that) in Rome. The only positive note is the location, less than 100 m from the San Giovanni metro station and therefore very central. As soon as you enter you are greeted by a pestilential smell, the common floor and the room are very dirty as are all the other parts, including the bathroom. The room is small, but for one night it is tolerable. The armchair next to my bed had several strange stains, the bathroom in my opinion was the worst part. First of all, the sockets are not fitted well and it was difficult to even turn on the light, the toilet was not fixed to the floor and was wobbling, the drain did not work at all, the shower tray was very small and very dirty. Overall, a real disappointment despite the fairly high price.
