This apartment is not advised if traveling with young kids or elderly. Even at that my mother in law fell down the stairs while staying at the property. Not only are the stairs up-to the attic severely steep they are so dangerous. Not one but several of the railings to sage guard the staircase were wobbly and not attached to the ceiling, this then caused her to fall and break her ankle. The apartment offered us a free stay or a partial refund of €300 which we declined as we paid over €1000 on this apartment. We then got told this would go through their insurance who don’t speak any English and we have now been sent fake documents. This ruined our entire trip, even the upstairs terrace flooded with water at night. AVOID COMPLETELY. We are still in disputes with them despite providing medical certification and wheelchair reports.

Spada is our second home… in Rome. Once again, everything was perfect. Thanks to Alice to organize the easy check-in as well as the airport transfers. Thanks to Silva for the warm welcome and the delicious cocktails on the beautiful terrace @Navona🍹 See you soon 😁

What a surprise when we arrived @Residenza Spada after 2 years without traveling! The place is still the same, beautifully maintained and ideally situated to discover all the areas of Rome. We were so happy to find our Roman « pied-à-terre » back 🤩
