Hotel Anfiteatro Flavio

Good in this "hotel" only the location and beautiful Camila at the reception! So what kind of "3-star hotel" is this?! Not serious at all! And where is the Italian Hotel Association looking?! Old rooms 100 years-old without renovation! And besides, the cleaning is bad! Shame on you!

Fantastic location, plenty of good bars/restaurants very close by so you don’t need to venture far for good food. Also with the area being more “bustling” it felt a safe area to walk about at night. Short walk to the colosseum. Area is very hilly, get a taxi if you have mobility issues. 10 minute walk from nearest metro. Room was a decent size for a 3 star. Air con was great. Rooms cleaned every day with clean towels. Shower is very small, not a lot of room to move about but fine for a quick shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar area is pretty non existent, don’t even think it was open during my stay. Also didn’t get to use the rooftop bar. It was locked every time I went up. Lift is small but fits one person and a case so just go up one at a time. The building is centuries old so that’s not unusual. Continental breakfast served every morning was a decent selection of pastries, cereals, cheese etc

Upon arrival it seemed alright at first. After speaking to the staff there they had no idea who we were and about her booking, after some discussion they finally figured it out. This shook me because they already asked me twice through email at what time we would arrive. Then the hotel staff took us to show us our room, we go OUT of the hotel and into a guesthouse in front of the hotel. That place was absolutely not at hotel standard but they sell themselves as a hotel and use a guesthouse also without telling people. The room: Had no wifi(even though the advertise it) No safe(even though the advertise it) No mini bar(even though the advertise it) The shower enclosure was falling apart. They also offer a luggage storage which we really needed, the storage isn't a storage they just leave your bags on the hallway. Clearly don't recommend anyone going to this place the only good thing about it was the location. Very unprofessional.

Had a lovely stay! The hotel is excellently located - a short walk from the Colosseum (you can see it from outside the hotel entrance), Trevi fountain, the Forum etc. The staff were wonderful - extremely friendly and helpful! I was a bit flustered when I arrived due to the flight and they offered me a coffee and were very kind. The room was cosy and nicely decorated with a good sized shower. Overall, very good value!

We stayed in Adriano room Good cleaning, very small bathroom, we are regular people and we bearly fit in the shower. Good location really closed to colisseo. 15 min walk to fontana de Trevi NO WIFI - 👎🏻 Good breakfast but short period (from 8-10)

The hotel is close to the Colosseum, which is great. The room was ok, but the staff in the reception was not very nice. One of them misplaced one of our passports and insisted that we never gave it to her. A smile would have been nice.
