don't even think about it, run away from this rat hole

The staff was very nice and welcoming, they even let us keep our bags after our check out because we wanted to explore the city a little bit more before our flight. The bed was nice, but the shower was a little too small. Overall, for a short stay and the price, would gladly recommend.

The worst experience that ever had! If you really want to book this hotel, please check the room before you checked in. Once you finished check in, you will never get your money back.No matter how disappointed you are with the room here or if you have any urgent reason. If you find this review, please get rid of it ASAP!

The receptionist is very nice and can speak English very well. Good location. The room is quit small but resonable with the cheap price.

Very attentive staff, the place is clean and neat. It has no extra service (no breakfast, no air conditioning, etc.), nor modern facilities. It is not very well connected to the center, but we know that since the hiring It is a satisfying experience without any extra luxury or value

1 Star hotel, furniture in poor condition, worn carpet, dirty, broken chair, wardrobe with doors that do not close, I could not take a shower, because no hot water came out, really bad and for the cost of the room, I also paid too much, to avoid

Excellent service and impeccable cleanliness

I’ve been inside hundreds of hotels and I gotta say, this is like the 2nd worst room I’ve ever had. I know it’s kinda cheap but honestly, they’d have to pay me to sleep here again. It’s really not worth it to save money - you might as well just not get a hotel. Room smelled like someone had been smoking up a storm in there. Carpet looked super old and worn out - might as well scrap it for a new rug or add tile. Have to buzz-in every time and tell the front desk person that you have a room there when you need to go through the first door. The second door, you need to enter in a key code. Then you can finally walk to your room. The shower doors were falling apart and wouldn’t slide properly. No shampoo or body wash - just a small hand soap bar. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows - barely any cushion in them to sink in when you’re feeling exhausted from a long day. No door-sign to say you want room service or not to be disturbed. Didn’t matter actually because they didn’t even ask if I needed room service. Giant holes in the carpet under my bed, wonder how that happened. No hot water, it’s between cold and warm when you turn it up all the way. The wifi signal is so weak, forget about it. Super loud in the lobby in the morning, no concern for people still sleeping. When I was checking in, I was asked to pay the 10 euro city tax in cash only. Only had card and he attempted to get his card reader to work, gave up and said “just send me the cash tomorrow morning”.

Simple hotel, small rooms, and small bathroom. However, I was lucky to have a window overlooking the street. Every day they make the bed and change the towels. They also kept my bag for me all day, as my flight was at night. The bed is also relatively comfortable. It is also a calm and very peaceful hotel. You don't hear anything at night. The only downside is that it is so simple and small. Don't expect great luxuries. I needed to stay for a week and for the price it was great. It's not easy to find a good, cheap hotel in Rome if you only book a month in advance, like I did. Despite everything, it was a positive experience.

I stayed at Baltik for one night. The hotel is nice, the room (a single) acceptable, normal. I find the location excellent for getting around, close to the centre. The owner was very kind, they let me leave my bags both before check-in and after check-out. The only flaw that could be improved is the smell in the room, I think it is due to the sewage because it is a smell that can also be smelled in the building. If we could find a solution the hotel would be perfect in terms of quality-price. Really positive note is the crazy bed pillow.
