Hotel located near Piazza del Popolo, has a wonderful garden under the Pincio hill, has renovated rooms equipped with every comfort, marble bathroom, very comfortable bed with linen sheets, decent breakfast.

The Host, Mario, greeted us every morning with the best attitude and high level of luxury service that I woke up everyday and ran down to see him. The ambiance, food, and most importantly the hospitality were by far the highest level of service you can receive. It doesn’t get better than this.

This was the best five star hotel experience I’ve never had. He services and accommodations were pristine, from the details of lining my shoes up in my room and putting a bookmark in my book to making sure I have everything I need for breakfast. The buffet is unbelievable. And every night I find myself in the patio. I can’t wait to come back sad to leave.

We love Hotel de Russie and choose it many years. We enjoy staying here as a couple and with kids. This is a very unique place in the heart of Rome. Good stuff. Interiors are charming. The garden always makes a great impression. Best breakfast in Rome. Many thanks to metrodotel Mario!

Absolutely wonderful. Probably the best breakfast experience on the planet. Fantastic service with some of the kindest and most dedicated staff I have experienced anywhere. Well worth the money for the memories alone. Highly recommended, best spot in Rome and probably Italy.

Beautiful Hotel with excellent location. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. I especially enjoyed the morning breakfast with Mario who displayed wonderful hospitality with much humor. We worked through the hotel for various ties of Rome which were all outstanding. Our guide for two days “Christiana” did a wonderful job with our tour. Her communication skills are excellent and she has more access to special areas without having to wait. I highly recommend using the hotel Conscierge for all tours.

Simply beautiful and luxurious hotel in a very central location for a 4 day trip to Roma. We stayed in a “family” room which was a suite connected to a double for our teens. Truly perfect rooms - spacious, luxurious and had everything we needed. Special mention to: Mario who made every breakfast delightful with charm and conversation. Our first morning he recommend menu items which became our favorites and he knew our order by heart every morning! Alex at the concierge who secured last minute reservations and made wonderful recommendations. And Kiara at the gorgeous Bar Stravinsky. This is our second Rocco Forte property and I expect the start of many more stays!

Always an amazing experience. Beautiful setting, attentive staff, comfortable room, and an incredible location to explore Rome. Second time here and look forward to returning! The children enjoyed themselves immensely, especially the breakfast where the team was very hospitable and accommodating. Thank you!

Be sure to check the one-star reviews, they are not lying! The outdoor garden was beautiful, but the service and the food was absolute trash. To our shock. We came for lunch and it was a disaster. The staff are amateurs. One waiter cleared my dish without asking, I told him I was not done, he had already stacked another dirty dish atop it, and then set it back down in front of me. The servers were slow, unorganized, and then to add insult to injury, they added an automatic 15% gratuity to our bill! For a miserable experience. My dish was 30 euro for "eggplant parmigiana" and I was served a slice of undercooked eggplant with some garnishes on top. Just really a joke overall. We hail from NYC and are very versed in 5-star experiences, and this place would be lucky to get two.
