Glance in Rome

This hotel is a dream. Booked this hotel for my wife’s 30th birthday celebrations and our trip to Rome. From entering the property on the hottest day of the year, the team had already ensured the air con was on and the room ready. We arrived to balloons on the bed and complementary sparkling wine chilled in the fridge. The suite was spacious, clean and exceeded our expectations. The location is fanatic, 15 min walk to Trevi Fountain and 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. The hotel acts as a fantastic base for a weekend in Rome. The reception team were welcoming, friendly and gave great advice of the local area. We would love to come back, such a special place within Rome. Thank you!!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during our honeymoon in October 2023. This was the last place we stayed at the end of our almost month-long trip before going home. For me, the best thing about this hotel was the staff and their hospitality. Upon arrival, we asked that we be placed in a quiet room. After several weeks in Italy, up until this point, we did not have much luck with noisy hotel rooms and were pretty sleep-deprived. They happily moved us from a street-facing room to an interior room. Unbeknownst to us, because we let them know in advance that it was our honeymoon, they had decorated the first room with rose petals, balloons and a bouquet of flowers. So they had to move those decorations to the interior room. The woman who checked us in made this change for us with a smile. It was such a wonderful surprise which made our stay special. We stayed in room 206A. As I mentioned it's an interior room looking onto the interior courtyard. We were so pleased we asked for this change because it was silent like a tomb. The only noise we heard was that of other guests coming into their rooms across the hall from us. But we chalked that up to the building be so old that there's only so much soundproofing they can do. The room istelf was well-appointed and the bed was comfortable. As others have pointed out, the hotel is a little on the older side, and is showing some wear and tear. Some more attention could be paid to the cleanliness of the room and bathroom as well. The breakfast was fantastic, there was a variety of foods available, and again, the hosts were really welcoming. Upon checkout, the staff was really concerned with how we enjoyed our stay, and if we were comfortable. She tried to help us order a taxi to the train station, but there were none to be had, so we just walked the 12 minutes. I think she asked me three times if I was sure I didn't want to take a cappuccino to go. The location of this hotel was great too, really close to the train station, so you don't have to lug your luggage too far but also within walking distance to all the main attractions. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. It's a little on the expensive side, but it's worth it for the location and great hospitality.

Amazing boutique hotel! I wish we had been able to stay longer. We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed the facility so incredibly much. The staff was amazing and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The room was spacious and well appointed. All around a lovely experience.

The hotel is very nice and the staff I encountered was friendly. My room was decorated well and I had a little balcony which I loved. The air conditioning worked very well. The amenities were just ok. I wish they had robes and conditioner in the bathroom. The bed was not the most comfortable because it had that split in it which made it sink in the middle. Every day, I got a different amount of towels in various sizes. The elevator is up a few steps which defeats the purpose a bit. But it worked and I needed it during the hot June days. One thing that could be improved is the signage. No signage said Glance in Rome, and I was lucky to look at someone's previous review with photos so I knew where to go. I know it's a shared space so signage can be tricky, but it probably didn't need to be that confusing.

It was close to major tourist attractions, so it was great for sightseeing and relaxing. The rooms are larger and more spacious than expected, neatly managed, and have good security. The comfortable bed and friendly service made my entire stay comfortable and enjoyable. I think I will visit again next time I come to Rome.

Very pleasant accommodation, great location 10 minutes from the station and the historic center, nice rooms. Butt what we appreciate the most is probably the friendliest staff we have ever met, very kind and nice people, always smiling and helpful, we greet you very much!
