We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the room was immaculate and located just on the river surrounded by shops and restaurants.
Our host Laura was amazing ! She was so helpful and accommodating and made our trip just a little bit easier with her help and guidance ☺️

a quiet guest house, even though lungotevere is a main road parallel with river. It was perfect for short stay, bed & room comfortable size, clean, but curtain panels need inspection for dirt & grime marks. But the Black outs were great. Snacks in lobby were good, there’s a microwave but it was on the other side of chain so we didn’t try or ask if was available for use. Location easy walking to colosseum and really anywhere. Trastevere is at your doorstep. Best way of contact is via ******* or calling the contact # they provide, guest house doesn’t connect via what’s ap. Laura, was Helpful in communication prior to arrival and we were able to get checked as soon as we got there, someone was waiting for us allowing smooth check in. We had a 20€ food & beverage -only used a portion of it. No issue getting a good nights rest.

It was a quiet guest house, even though lungotevere is a Main Street. It was perfect for short stay, bed & room comfortable size and was easy walking to colosseum and really anywhere. Trastevere is at your doorstep. Best way of contact is via ******* or calling the contact # they provide, not what’s ap. Helpful in setting up taxi to airport and getting us checked as soon as we got there, we did notify them of our estimated arrival via train and someone was waiting for us for smooth check in. We had a 20€ food & beverage -only used a portion of it. No issue getting a good nights rest.

Fantastic location, we walked everywhere from there. Its in the quiet end of Trastevere, which felt more local, but still endless choice of restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away. The room was large and really comfortable with a lovely treelined view across to the river. Its on a busy road but the sound proofing was excellent. Laura gave us some fantastic suggestions for restaurants and other places and markets we might like, and made some reservations for us. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Rome!

Palazzo Baj is located in a great area. It's on a main street but not noisy and you are in Trastevere so many restaurants nearby. We were able to walk to all the main sites..Trevi, Pantheon, Roman Forum, etc. I would note that it's more of a guest house in my opinion vs. a hotel because there is staff at the desk only from 930a to 1:30p. Not a huge issue. Laura, the host, was available on What's App but there were times we wished there was a live person there. For example, one day staff forgot to resupply our toilet paper and I did not want to bother Laura for that or for when there was no more cream for coffee. We ended up finding a few partly used rolls of TP that got us through to the next day. The rooms are clean, modern, and as mentioned, there is a nice cake in the common kitchen everyday. Laura booked our taxi to the airport and that person was great... texting us the night before to confirm etc.

The accommodation was well located, the room clean and well appointed. The owners care and it shows with small details like great toiletries and sleep sachet on pullow. Bed and pillows great and access to sitting room with cake and coffee a plus.

A perfect location for visiting Rome by foot. Restaurants within a very short walk. A very beautiful, boutique hotel. Laura was very helpful even down to setting up a car to take us to the airport. We walked to the Colosseum, all through Trastevere and to campo de Fiori.
