CC Palace Hotel

This was the worst hotel I stayed in during my 22-day stay... Rome is packed with attractions, and most hotels are in good locations. It's a newly renovated hotel, and the service is quite positive. However! The air conditioning automatically shut off after two hours! After a day of walking around in 40-degree Rome, the room was still hot when I returned. I woke up in the middle of the night from the heat and had to get up to turn on the AC! Several times! The staff couldn't figure out what the problem was, and it wasn't a single issue. Many people have commented, and one Google review says the "powerful AC kept me sleeping all night." Then it seems like it was actually sarcastic, haha. Imagine running around during the day, getting dehydrated, and then returning to the hotel to cool down, only to have it shut off automatically! And the price was nearly 3,000 per night. I've never stayed in a hotel like this before. The most annoying thing about the faucet design is the dual knobs, which make wet hands slippery. The edges are so sharp from age and scale that they literally cut my thumb! Why didn't I eat vegetables for breakfast? The vegetables smelled awful on my first day... So, if you absolutely have to stay here, I don't recommend breakfast.
