Great location right next to piazza navona. Very nice staff and beautiful rooftop. Our room was very big. Quiet area and lots to see around the area. Breakfast was very good.

Although the Sparrow is small and well-equipped, its location is invincible. You can basically walk to all attractions every day. The only Colosseum is a little far away. It cost 1.5 euros to take the bus there and then walk all the way back. Other attractions such as Twila Fountain, The Spanish Steps and the Vatican are all within a 30-minute walk. After shopping, you can also go back to the hotel to relax before going out, which is very convenient.

Very nice boutique hotel by the Campo de Fiori. A short walk to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Helpful staff. Avoid the tourist trap restaurants in the Campo Piazza. Better to find a small family place on the other side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

I cannot say enough good things about this place.
Staff - polite, personable, and attentive
Hotel - clean, well appointed, spacious, updated yet retained the rustic appeal.
Breakfast - simple yet perfect. Fruit, cereal, bread, cheese, milk, and eggs BUT do not forget the amazing coffee.
Location - near to everything, centrally located but not so close to anything special that would come with increased prices.
When we arrived, I noticed our showerhead was broken (it was cracked). Still functional but with incredibly low pressure. We did not say anything fearing drama - would they want to repair it when not convenient for us or change our room. Housekeeping came to straighten our room once when we were gone. They must have noticed this and fixed it. This shows the staff was attentive, aware, and addressed the problem WITHOUT me having to say anything. This proved to me this hotel cared if we enjoyed our stay and did whatever they could to ensure we did.

Very close to shopping, dining and historic sites. 20 minute walk to Vatican. Perfect rooftop patio even in December to enjoy some wine.

I chose hotel Damaso for the location. Little did I know the hotel was just as beautiful as the city! The front desk were always very welcoming and friendly. I also fell in love with my room! Very spacious and clean, alond with a comfy bed. As my first time travelling solo, I felt safe and relaxed. Will definitely be staying again in the future. Grazie mille!
