The Hive Hotel

Termini Central Station Rome|0.71km from San Pietro in Vincoli
Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again. Rose Garden Palace Roma by Omnia Hotels

Via Veneto Rome|1.59km from San Pietro in Vincoli
We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

This little boutique hotel is very well located , beautifully furnished and designed room . Whilst the rooms may be on the small side they are very comfortable and well designed . The staff was outstanding from the minute we arrived until we left , we were treated like celebrities! Even the young lady serving us breakfast , which was a huge meal , was so accommodating . Can’t wait for my next visit to Rome to stay there again !

The hotel is very close to the Colosseum, Trajan Square, and Piazza Venezia. The lobby is large, the environment and facilities are very good, the service is good, and the breakfast is very satisfying.

We had so much fun honestly! The personal is great and very helpful. The position is less than a km away from the colosseum and u can easily take a walk outside and enjoy the view. The prices are affordable for everyone and there are many services available that come with the room booking such as: luggage deposit, breakfast and snacks in the morning and a really cute “chilling” place at the check-in when you can relax and let time pass in a nice atmosfere. Recommend this place to everyone, 10/10!!!

Breakfast is not used in the hotel. You can pay 6 euros per person and ask for a list from the front desk. Go out with the list and turn right for 200 meters. After passing a small intersection, walk a few steps straight to a small restaurant. 6 Euro includes a pastry, a cup of juice and a cup of coffee. We like to order the croissant. We must ask the waiter to add chocolate or cream to the croissant. If you don’t ask for it, it’s vegetarian. It seems that an extra bed is not enough. But you can book a room with a double bed and a small bed. This room type is on the sixth floor. We have lived in both types of rooms. We booked on different platforms and gave different rooms. The location of the hotel is excellent and it is convenient to go everywhere. Go out and turn left and walk 5 minutes to the subway station. There is a Chinese restaurant next to the subway station. There is also a Chinese restaurant when you turn right out of the hotel! Rome is not big, you can walk to various famous attractions without taking the subway! At the beginning, we used the subway to get there, but later found that it was very convenient to walk. In Rome, you can only feel the charm of this city on foot! It is particularly worth mentioning that the three receptionists at the front desk of the hotel have excellent service! Will book this hotel next time.

The room is very clean, but it is very small, and you can only get there after going upstairs. The room was also remodeled in a corner, and the sound insulation is average; the front desk is very fierce

Enjoyed hotel’s location! Only 2 minutes walk to Metro station which we used to get to few of Romes’ attractions! The hotel staff pleasant, friendly, approachable and helpful! Breakfast was nice but would’ve appreciated if more cooked breakfast items were available I.e fried eggs/ mushrooms/ sausages! The room was adequate with very good standard of cleanliness! The bathroom and shower were clean and the water pressure was very good! However the upper floor flooring look tired and old and the lift to upper floors extremely slow and it’s flooring needs to be replaced! The hotel is a 4 star rating in our opinion! We enjoyed our stay especially so for its staff helpfulness cleanliness and its location!
