All I needed was a clean bed & convenient to where I was working. It is an older property, but it was clean. No frills, just clean and safe. I got just what I needed. Staff was very friendly.

I did not understand how you can take a shower in a handicap room if you have to climb in a tub .

Most of our business was in, around, or north of Rome, but this seemed to be the only reasonably-priced motel available convenient to our travels. PROS: The property is clean and neat. The owners are pleasant and helpful. In the tradition of the past, daily tidying of the room, with trash and used bath linens removed. They were very aware of and pro-active about an unusual outdoor bug issue that is plaguing the entire area, with the bugs (neither stinging, biting, nor dangerous) finding their way into the rooms. Every effort was made to prevent them from getting in, and removing them when they did, on a daily basis. Great guest care! Easy access to the property. At least the nights we were there, everyone was quiet and well-behaved. Reasonably priced. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well every night. Plenty of hot water. Plenty of TV channels to view. Great AC! In-room coffee supplies (although it is the common cheap coffee that always smells old). CONS: No freezer in the in-room refrigerator to keep my water frozen for our hours out in the heat and humidity. None of the USB plugs on the wall lamps worked (had to use a wall outlet adapter) for recharging my phone. None of the reading lamps on the wall fixtures worked. One wall lamp didn't work at all. No (alarm) clock. No iron. VERY minimal "continental" breakfast.

Noisy all night This IS a budget option. We chose it because it was at a convenient stopping point. Unfortunately, our room faced the front. It is on a very busy road.....busy all night. Lots of truck traffic. The "double glazed" windows didn't help much. It is recently refurbished and otherwise comfortable. My wife grumbled about their being no hangers for the hanger rack in the bathroom (which is huge). There was no closet or wardrobe. The owner was very friendly and offered us complimentary soft drinks at check-in. No breakfast was listed on the website and we expected none. However, a sign in the lobby indicated breakfast was available. When we inquired about it in the morning and were given a paper bag with two bottles of orange juice and four snack bars. My advice would be to ask for a room on the back side.

The carpets had just been cleaned but yet still had stains on them. there was no hairdryer in the room and both times that I went to the front desk no one was around. The positives were the bed was extremely comfortable, the location was very convenient and overall the the room was clean. It also had some nice extras with a refrigerator, microwave, iron but lacked a hairdryer?

AVOID! Where to start? False advertisement... the place was a dump, woman at front desk want 100 bucks CASH as payment for incidental fees to be refunded on checkout. Told her I didn't have it and she said 50 LOL. Got key to the MOTEL room and opened the door to be greeted by the smell of ****. Went back to her and she said all hotels have people that smoke pot (I am with an 8 year old). She got into a shouting match with my wife about that comment. Called Amex and told them do not pay because we were leaving. This place is the type of place you pay by the hour. And it says they offer a free breakfast, that I would love to see!

A Grateful Veteran! It was really nice when the manager gave me a room on the first floor. I am disabled veteran who has had four foot surgeries. I will definitely go back to this location if I am in the area

A Five-Star Experience This hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We requested hangers and an iron (they were not in our room) and the staff brought them to our room immediately. This hotel is a basic traveler hotel, but was perfect for our stay and close to family. Breakfast was "to go" (fruit, nutrition bar, and banana bread), but that fit our schedule. It is located right next to a Circle K and is on a main highway. We would stay here again.
