Liars! Gave us one price for the room then charged us a higher price. Rooms run down and out dated . Not worth staying here - take your business elsewhere!

AVOID THIS SHANTY SHACK. It was noisy, the bedding was unwashed with bodily fluid stains, no breakfast, candy wrappers and a ramen cup beside the bed and behind it, they called 45 minutes prior to check out and a knock 20 minutes before check out and another call 10 minutes before check out. I felt rushed to leave a disgusting place. I made sure to alert them and get new sheets for the beds but I had to make them myself. I was offered no apology, no rectification or compensation.

Check in went well. Room was clean and comfortable. Really appreciated the air conditioner was on when I arrived. Website reflects a nice breakfast which influenced decision to stay. However in reality it was cheap prepackaged junk food.

My wife and I stayed here on a Friday night, check in was easy and efficient. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom is tiny, if I was a rather large person, I may have had trouble maneuvering around in there. It also has a round front toilet, rather than an elongated one. The sink is out in the main room, the toilet and shower are in the tiny bathroom. The front of the room is all glass except the door, all the noise from outside, came right on in it seemed. The WiFi worked quite well and the room is brighter than some I have stayed in, easy to read in bed with the lighting.

I made my reservation thru Hotwire. Gave the itinerary #. He wanted me to swipe my credit card (I assumed for incidentals but can't imagine what they would have been). Feeling uncomfortable with some comments I checked my bank account. I had 2 pending charges, one from Hotwire and one from Econo Lodge. He made some strange comment about the money not being there (their account) and ask me to swipe again. I told him I wasn't that stupid. Said he couldn't give me a room unless I did. I called Hotwire and he called his manager. In the end I got the room but somehow ended up with a total of 4 charges. Hotwire worked with me to remove theirs. I'm still waiting on the one from Econo Lodge to drop. Almost a week later. Turns out the guy was new and seemed to know nothing about checking people in. The room was "ok" but never again. With the price of gas being over $5.00 a gallon I don't have enough money laying around to have it be held like that. They need to train their employees!
