I chose La Belle Rodriguaise for its serene and tranquil environment and remote location. The area is clean and well-maintained.This adds to the calm and relaxing atmosphere—perfect for getting recharge your energy. I enjoyed the fresh and delicious local cuisine, which really enhanced my experience. This destination was ideal for resting with family. I also found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful, which made my stay even more pleasant. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to rejuvenate their energy in a quiet and peaceful setting.

You are on the edge of the known world when you get to Rodriguez, only to find paradise awaiting. It is third-world, the local roads are terrible in spots, but that only adds to the adventure. La Belle is a small but awesome hotel. The owners and staff could not be nicer and the food is spectacular. Hurry before the island gets discovered!

I fell in love with the place during my stay. The team was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Little chicks wandered around the courtyard, adding to the charm, and the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it—10/10!

There’s no words that can explain the rustic and homely feel of La Belle Rodriguaise. It stands high on a small sort of hill and the view is magical. Françoise is the owner who will come to chit chat and make sure you are settled comfortably in your cocoon room. The food? Wake up early morning just to have the ‘gato patate’! A must and truth is it was worthy of ever praise! Cake or country bread., homemade jam or just the fish for dinner., everything was a treat! Totally worth a stay ❤️🥰😍😘 so looking forward to the next visit 🤗

An amazing experience. Everything was perfect. The staff, the premises, the facilities, the owners, the view, the setting. If you're looking for the perfect trip to Rodrigues, you will find one right here. 100% recommended. I will definitely come back.

Probably the worst experience we had in Rodrigues. It was so bad that we accepted to forfeit around EUR 200 instead of staying there. The hotel is poorly lit and so far from everything. There was no one to welcome us and we were made to wait in the dark. They were not even aware of our arrival date despite us having booked there months ago and gave us a dirty and mouldy room. There was no tissue paper, blanket in the room. Then they told us that the kitchen is closed (mind you, we had just arrived from the airport) and there is no dinner. The guy even dared to tell us, (come help me in the kitchen, i will see if there is something for you). So i guess they scraped the bottom of pans and gave us a tiny portion of a dinner. The next day, when we tried to speak to the owner, well the owner was not reachable. He or she was playing hide and seek and would not face us despite multiple phone calls. It felt like we were prisoners. Any honest business would have refunded us our money if there were grave complaints like that but they took our money and did not refund us. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Spent five nights at the small cosy place. Location is brilliant, very peaceful, views of the Ocean is great and only a minute from quiet beach. The staff are very friendly and polite. The chef is cool and food is nice and variety is fair. The room has air con and cleaned everyday which is very nice. Being a tropical Island there are lots of insects etc which is expected but can sometimes be annoying especially during dinner time. Access to the hotel is challenging as the car hire company stated that they will no longer offer their vehicle to visitors staying at La Belle Rodriguaise. I hired a car initially but as soon as i took the vehicle the car rental company called me to advise that i should not drive to the hotel due to the access unsuitable for cars. They kindly switched the car with a 4*4 as a gesture of goodwill and confirmed they will not hire vehicles to visitors staying here due ti unsuitable rocky access. The owners do offer airport transfer and i would recommend this. However if you need to drive from and to the accommodation during your stay, then you got to find rental company who will allow their vehicle to be driven there. I did express my concerns to the owners and hopefully something can be done about this in near future as the location has amazing views and very unique in many ways. On the overall had a nice stay. During our stay in Rodrigues we wanted absolutely to go to La belle Rodriguaise for a lunch. But we could not reach there despite having an SUV car. The roads to La Belle Rodriguaise in Graviers is impracticable.We called the reception at La Belle Rodriguaise to inform them that we are somewhere near the Auberge and we cannot drive through since we had an SUV. We requested them to send us a 4 x 4 which we were ready to pay,but the receptionist gave us a cold call. We waited and called our SUV owner operator and he requested us not to go since we may cause damage to the car as the road is not good at all I understand that the owner wants to keep the area natural .But if they want to be accessible better think about improving infrastructure first and hire people with proper training to customer care.

Nice place to relax and sleep. Not recommended for business trip. Food was great. Friendly staff. Room 114 was huge and comfortable. Water of the wash basin was too thin and broken shower handle. Bring your own shower gel and shampoo. Careful of mice and insects. The road leading to the place was terrible. Not recommended for those who underwent surgery. Although the quietness, tranquility and peace is unbeatable.
