What a beautiful old historical home! Somebody needs to buy this place to restore the "breakfast" part of the B & B. The owner was very communicative and sent the codes to get entry into the inn and our room. We stayed in the Conspiracy Room and the King bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. There were coffee, tea, water and snacks for us to enjoy. Our event was within walking distance of the inn and the area is safe. We'll definitely return on our next visit to Rocky Mount, VA.

Lovely and clean home. Conveniently located to restaurants and to the Harvester! It was so relaxing and welcoming ~ 💜 ~ The bed was comfortable and coffee and snacks were available. Also, had recycling! ! Loved the outside space and we saw a few deer in the yard ~

A very beautiful and historic location. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again. We saw a concert at the Harvester Performance Center which was a very short walk from this location. The owner was very friendly and made our stay easy and enjoyable! Some people may have found the self check in feature not to their taste but it really was very simple and all of the instructions necessary were provided by email. Top Notch!!

Apparently the place is up for sale. May have been wonderful before but it felt creepy and deserted when we arrived - and they were so tardy in sending the check-in codes that we were unable to check in - and unable to reach anyone by phone - and there's nobody present at the site. We were forced to bail and find other accommodation. AND neither the innkeepers or Travelocity has responded to our demand for a refund. Lessons learned : DO NOT STAY HERE GO ELSEWHERE

We loved staying at this inn. Room and bath were fantastic and the bed extremely comfortable. We were in town for a funeral and it was very convenient to the places we had to be while in town. We will definitely stay here again when in Rocky Mount.

The accommodation was absolutely top-notch. I will stay there the next time I take in a show at The Harvester. Was disappointed that there was no breakfast, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfy. I was told that the mattress was gel memory foam? I've tried regular memory foam and didn't care for it but I liked the gel very very well.

If you happen to be in Rocky Mount, you must stay at The Early Inn. The inn is a fantastic old home with character. I stayed in the Conspiracy Suite. It was spacious, hardwood floors, nice bathroom, and had a huge soft bed, all in a vintage setting. Easy to check-in, good communication with management. Rocky Mount is a charming little town with some good restaurant choices. I have a son who lives in Rocky Mount and would stay at the Early Inn again in a heartbeat when visiting with him.

Wanderlust suite- and its 13ft ceilings, en-suite bathroom, velvet curtains, and museum quality furniture- was an excellent room to stay in. I slept soundly all night and got to see wildlife (deer and groundhogs) out on the grounds in the morning.

If you're attending a show at the Harvester (they get some great acts as well as smaller up and coming artists), you can't beat staying at the Early Inn. Besides being basically across the street, the Inn feels so elegant. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very very comfortable. I can see how the Inn would be ideal for a wedding or celebration also.
