In Rocky Mount, there are not too many hotel options. I’ve stayed at Wyndham properties before and been satisfied. Thus location was awful. First room didn’t have clean bathroom, toilet wasn’t even flushed. Second room had water and toothpaste on bathroom mirror and window wide open with no screen. Upon further inspection, the bathroom had bugs behind door, dirt throughout the floor, leaky sink pipe resulting in puddle on tile floor. I retrieved a blanket and pillow from my car and slept on top of the bed, not trusting the cleanliness of the bed. Due to the timing and job duties of my trip, had to make due. Showed pictures to front desk staff who were quite nice. They were the only bright spot on the stay. Mgmt was hard to get in touch with after returning home. Both manager and owner were rude and non-apologetic. Do not choose this location!!!
