Pitiful excuse for a hotel. Ridiculous front desk staff. I tried to call my sister who was a guest at the hotel. I explained I thought I had the correct room number, but due to the fact I dropped by there for less than 5 minutes, I wasn't 100% sure I had the correct room number. I didn't think I had any need to remember it after I left. To be clear, I did NOT ask the desk clerk to give me the room number. I know they're not allowed to give out that info. I simply asked him to ring the room. He REFUSED. He said it's policy. I said I've called there numerous times and explained to other staff that I wasn't sure about the room number and they had put me right through. He asked if that was the case, why didn't I know the number!! I tried to explain they rang the room, but of course, hadn't given me the number. He made a smart remark about how he wasn't there to argue with me. I travel quite a lot. I have been in 11 different countries in the last 2 months alone. I've NEVER had staff tell me at ANY hotel ANYWHERE that they couldn't ring a room for me. The owner of the hotel should be embarrassed.
